“My family and I have been coming to Kim Chai for probably 25+ years and love there great deals on food and the portions are on point. Henry is so nice and always so friendly. He treats you like family ?. I highly recommend this place ❤️“
“This is way overdue…Our family has enjoyed Panda Garden for 20+ years. The food is very good and consistent, even with takeout. The owners and staff have always been incredibly kind, even when the kids were young and kinda messy. Anytime I’ve requested modifications for dietary restrictions, they are kind, willing, and do their best to accommodate. Thank you Panda Garden!“
“I have been coming to Nam King for over 30 years. They have the best Fried Rice and egg rolls in the city of Memphis. If you can’t get good fried rice, the rest of the food will be poor. I have followed them all over the city and the store in Raleigh has always been my favorite. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends and anyone else who asks me where the best Chinese food is. I was so grateful when they reopened. Thank you Bonnie Zhao for keeping the restaurant going!“
“For the hungry and want it fast crowd this place will do the job. Mostly Chinese dishes with some American thrown in. Most of their business is take out but they have seating for 32. We showed up about 1 ish and we were the only ones eating in but saw a steady stream of phone in orders being picked up. My partner got the chicken fried rice and I agreed with her it should have had more chicken in it. I selected the steak and shrimp sub and the meat was ground up, not hamburger but certainly not sirloin. Few shrimp in it. On the edge of Tiger Town for what it is, it’s not bad.Parking: Lots of roomWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room in the dining area. Restrooms are ADA compliant“
“Went in for lunch and really enjoyed it. Nice clean restaurant. The service was great. Good size portions. The chicken wing and spring roll that comes with the lunch were soooo tasty! It wasn't my favorite hot and sour soup because it was a little sweet for me. But I liked everything else. We will definitely go again and try other things.“
“The place itself is not much to look at, but the food is great and the people are friendly and efficient. It’s primarily a place for takeout. The portions are very generous especially if you order the larger size entrees. I got almost twice the amount for just a few dollars more. Apparently the place has a new owner or manager and from the earlier reviews I’ve read, they’ve really turned things around.“
“First time and the food was ok. The meat was a little tuff but manageable. I love how they give you alot of food so your money is well spent. I got the mixed fried rice with no shrimp. The rice itself was not over cooked but the meat could've been better. Two people can eat off one plate so be prepared. It comes with everything in it so you dont have to ask for extra. My hubby loves this place tho so his review will be different. Me, i may go back lol“
“The Rice BowlIs one of my favorite places. I have been dinning with them since 2010. It is always good, always fresh and piping hot.Even when I had my accidentAnd couldn't walk. They would bring it to the car.Always friendly.I love it.“
“Yum’s has been here at this location for more than 25 years never had a problem with the food. It’s always fresh and hot. Mr.Yum doesn’t smile but he’s pretty cool if you’re a repeat customer. He asked me one day where you’ve been, I told him I moved out to suburbs area he just smiled and said stop by anytime when you’re back in the city.“
“If you're craving a mix of Chinese cuisine and comforting home-cooked soul food, this spot is perfect for you. They offer a variety of dishes including pig feet, chitlins, fried rice, orange chicken, and more. I always try to go before the Rush Hour.“
“Loi and his family have been making great Vietnamese food here for years. They definitely make some of the best phở, bún riêu, bún bò Huế, bánh mì, bún thịt nướng, chả giò, gỏi cuốn, and cháo gà in Memphis among many other outstanding dishes. If you know you know, if you don't know you should find out. This place is all about great Vietnamese food. The beef pepper steak is really good, too, and I think they have some other Chinese options that are probably pretty good, too, but it's a Vietnamese place so you should really take advantage of their specialties. The restaurant itself is not fancy, but the food is extra fresh, especially since there is a market right next door. Some people may complain that it doesn't look super updated or that it's a little rough around the edges, but this is a family operation, they work hard for long hours. They don't have a lot of help, and they have very reasonable prices for the high quality of food and service. We absolutely love everything about Phó Só 8. Try the avocado bubble tea or a cafe sua da for dessert!Vegetarian options: If you want, they will substitute tofu for a lot of things. Just ask!Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating with special requests including dietary restrictions.“
“Local hidden gem. Extremely low prices for the portion sizes you receive, or living in late stages of capitalism have conditioned us that quality food in big portions suppose to be expensive. Friendliest and most positive staff who i think also owns the place. Always support your local small businesses before mega corporations takes over your government and turn you into the product they sell.“
“Best Chinese Food Ever.I will eat here forever.Go and see for yourself; you won't regret it.Vegetarian options: They have pictures.Dietary restrictions: Ask the cashier.Parking: There's enough parking.Kid-friendliness: They even have their kids there so, yes, kids would love it.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“I got this from Island Paradise is a Caribbean food truck the food was great I ordered ahead the only problem I had was I was starving I'm sure they didn't know that but they said it would be 35 minutes I pulled up 35 minutes and had to wait almost 45 minutes more to get my food that was nice the food was great you just have to be patient and wait and I haven't been to dim some King yet maybe I try them“
“Ahhh sooo oh good. I'm visiting from MI. And googled came up with this restaurant. Food was flavorful, made with love and she loves the community. “Excelent Chinese food made on the spot. Fresh ingredients, awesome flavor. We order at least twice a week because we live in the area. However the area is not very nice unfortunately, and neither is the location. The place have tables but the restaurant was converted to delivery mostly, so there is no dining in although they still have their tables. Their menu looks smaller now than the original but they still prepare the dish if you request it. Our favorite dishes there are the broccoli and shrimp, Moo goo Gai pan, Moo Shu vegetable, vegetable lo mai and show Mai, egg Fu yong and their fry rice is fantastic!! Even in busiest days their order pick ups are no more than 20 min! The lady is very nice to us and we always customize one thing or another like extra onions in the rice, extra shrimp, more sweet and sour sauce instead of soy and duck sauce, etc“
“I've been coming here for over 10 years. They've always been kind and helpful. Whenever it's been a while since last visit they acknowledge me. Always my go to when I crave Chinese food. Everything I've has been hot/fresh and delicious ranging from the chicken noodle soup to the big fish box. Try them out. You won't be disappointed.“
“The food is consistently good and very reasonably priced. When I call ahead, it's always ready when I get there. The staff is very friendly. Probably the best in the area. Although I don't venture far from egg rolls and beef fried rice.“
“Food is always hot & very tasty. I'm from Chicago, and this is one of three Chinese take-out restaurants I visit. Memphis has very few good Chinese food locations. I also love this location because the prices are fair & affordable!“
“I love the food here, the atmosphere is nice, relaxing, not to busy. Me and my partner loved it, we tried the spicy drunken noodles & the yum yum shrimp which were reallyy good and filling! The servings are a good size for two as well and the service was amazing. Thank you!!“
“The food was good /it was dark in there but the gentleman was very courteous...Food was ready when I arrived ?some places start cooking when you get there ..I only got a quick meal to go...next time I'm gonna try the Shrimp fried rice...“
“I've been driving/riding past this place ever since it opened. I just decided to go today, because subway was full. I'm glad I did, I enjoyed the buffalo wings. The orange chicken was pretty good and so was the beef broccoli. I liked the inside of the building, it's spacious for just a mostly drive thru restaurant. The people were friendly at the drive thru window. I will be going back again soon.Parking: Well, there's quite a few parking spaces. So, as long as it isn't too busy you'll find a spot.Wheelchair accessibility: A few handicapped parking spots were there.“
“So family and I ordered and picked up I gotta say we enjoyed the food . Great taste , great portions and to top it off prices are very good . This place can’t compete with other restaurants the quality of food is to try for. It was our 1st time dinning out from this location and I do recommend it to anyone . Will order again :)“
“I’m a truck driver first time here i love Chinese food so I was searching online and I decided this place and I love it very fast service and the food was delicious ? the combination rice wow the best thanks ?? I will come back soon ohh not mention that a very good portion ?✍️“
“Best takeout Chinese I've had in TN from Nashville to Memphis. This place actually has the BBQ pork I grew up on from takeout back in Oregon. They even make their own incredibly good spicy Chinese mustard. Pro order: General Tso's with house fried rice, crab rangoon, egg drop soup, BBQ pork, and two orders of spicy Chinese mustard.“
“Food was delicious, I stopped by near closing time and they had my order ready in less than 10 mins. Food was flavorful and my rice was the perfect texture I don’t mind driving from my side of town to eat here. My new favorite spot for Chinese food.“
“Apologies for no photos. This particular location has been a neighborhood monument for many years. Same people, same menu same taste same cashier same cook Same attitude from the lady up front( Lol) same look when you asked for more soy sauce. See that same look when you ask for duck sauce everything is consistent and been that way for 25 years or better or maybe 20 years ago.“
“Ordered via Uber eats. Hot & Sour soup was the most unique I’ve ever had. It was perfectly hot and sour and exactly what I didn’t know I wanted! I also ordered the pepper steak and it was a very generous portion! Tasted exactly like it should. I’ll be ordering from Great Wall again!“
“Golden City’s chicken with stringed beans is delicious! The chicken is tender. I loved the sauce as well. I commend Golden City for the ratio of meat to veggies. There’s not many places in this city where you are served healthily portioned plates.“
“It's the hood Chinese place and it's poppin! It's not too far from home, and they have non-meat options! I'm more of a light/no meat eater and this works so well with lots of flavor! You should def try it next time you're in the neighborhood. They save me every-time.“
“Update: 07/14/2023: order some food for me and my partner today..expensive online but food was very good as always..haven't been there in so long and I see why..the atmosphere is not too pleasant..short tempered customers ready to go off on you just because you're picking up an order in which I had to wait over an hour to get..ppl standing there to the side like you gonna know that they haven't ordered and talking mess to another one...yea that's why I never make more trips there on annually...Memphis too ghetto for me...Went there today (11-12-2018)...ordered shrimp lo mein, butterfly shrimp with bacon, two egg rolls, gallon of sweet tea with cokes and water...gotta say for the money you get a lot food was off the hook..eggs rolls huge never had em that huge but so GOOD! I will definitely be returning.....“
“Mulan Asian Bistro. Where to start? Everything was excellent about this place. The food was amazing, I had Hunan Bandit Duck with steamed rice and Steamed Buns (aka Baozi or Mantou) as an appetizer. The duck was crisp on the outside while being juicy and perfectly done on the inside. The sauce was just the right amount of spicy, and the buns complimented the dishes perfectly. They added just the right amount of sweet and soft while taking the pepper oils out of my mouth. The vegetables were perfect as well, having just the right amount of crisp left to them. Delicious all the way around. The service was also expedient, friendly, and helpful. Plenty of space to park, plenty of dining room, and overall everything was excellent. The pricing was reasonable if one considers the portion size, I ate twice off the same meal. Overall, hats off to the folks at Mulan Asian Bistro, keep up the excellent work.“
“Fast, friendly, affordable and taste great!! I will be back! So glad I gave them a try! Only issue, didnt care for cream cheese wonton. It was the wrapping... fried chicken wings, egg rolls, hot n sour soup, sweet n sour chicken and general tso chicken..“
“This restaurant is in the food court of Wolfchase Mall. The food is great and tasty. The employees were very friendly and made you feel welcomed. The portion sizes are great. They give you enough for two meals. The bourbon chicken and Mongolian chicken were tasty, and the string beans were cooked to perfection.Parking: Mall parking lot. The lot near the food court stays full. May have to park far off.Wheelchair accessibility: They have about 12 handicap parking spaces wheelchair entrances, and elevators to get to the food court“
“We went for the dinner and it was late in night, almost close to their closing time. The place was not much packed obviously. The server was sweet. He hurried up as the kitchen was closing but never rushed us. We started with some pan fried dumplings. They were hot, steamy, and good. My husband got some tofu with veggies and I got myself kung pao chicken. Both the dishes were served with steamed rice. The portion size was decent for a single person and the food was hot and fresh. I would return surely.“
