“WOW! It's amazing to think how deeply A Christmas Story has impacted our lives. Like the family depicted in the movie, our family now enjoys finding the local Chinese restaurant on Christmas Day and having dinner there. You aren't looking for high-quality, top shelf, off-the-chain food to mesmerize you or leave you speechless. It doesn't even matter if it's kinda dirty, its okay, it's to be expected. Remember, you're wanting the feel of realness, which includes banter, laughter, jokes, quality time with the family. As you are absorbed into your family you'll hopefully more than likely forget about the weird smell, the unattended kids running back and forth to the buffet, seeing them reach with their cute little germ-infested hands and get food off of the buffet stands. Ah yes, the spirit of the holidays! What makes it worthwhile is the lovely smile of our server, Robbie. She has worked at this location for 32 years and went above and beyond as a server to make our Christmas experience extra special. She gave us candy and gave my wife a hand signed, personalized Christmas card! She was amazing! We night go back just to visit with her.“
“There's no better place to take a group of friends from out of town than Noko if you're trying to impress. This place never disappoints on all levels. We certainly gave the menu a go this time from crab fried rice, to bok choy, to the 40oz tomahawk steak...what an amazing experience. We will always be back, especially with the amazing hospitality! Thanks, Noko!“
“We live in the neighborhood so we called in an order to-go and used the 15% off flyer they left on our door. I walked in and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere as it is unassuming from outside. Service was solid but the hostess was busy taking calls so I had to wait about five minutes before she was able to help me. Not a big deal at all. She grabbed the food quickly and I was on my way. I couldn't give a 5-star rating for service & atmosphere because we didn't dine-in so my experience was relatively limited. The food however, delicious. We were delighted because solid thai food is tough to find in the Nashville area. You pay for it as it's a little expensive. But what isn't these days. We are looking forward to getting back there soon.“
“I've been to numerous sushi places in Murfreesboro and a few in Nashville. This is by far the best sushi I've had in the area. It may be the best I've ever had. You can just tell the ingredients are so fresh and superior to what I've had elsewhere. Amazing!“
“My wife and I were extremely blown away by the unique opportunity we had with chef Ryan. Never could we have imagined the tasteful 12 course meal made for us. Unfortunately my words fail to paint a proper picture of the quality and excellence of Ryan's skill and the journey to another world this was..thank you!“
“This place needs more love than its given. Ive had some different Chinese foods recently here in Nashville but China town made me feel like a kid again. Enjoying some of the best Chinese food ever. like i had it for the first time when i was younger. This place has by far the best crab rangoon ive ever had in my life. 10/10 and 5 stars. Will highly recommend to anyone that is looking for good Chinese food.“
“Red ninja is my new favorite sushi joint. First, the staff is very friendly and attentive. Its normally not crowed ( which is why I hesitate to write this review ) the sushi is very fresh, the wasabi is good, and his creations are unique. Red Ninja also has fair pricing, now a days its hard to find a sushi roll for less than $15 yet I don't think one roll on his menu is over $15 and most of the basic items are less than $9. Keep up the good work and I'll keep coming!“
“My husband and I had a pre honeymoon get away to Nashville. We love sushi and were highly reccomended this restaurant… It was an amazing experience. Best sushi we’ve ever had and atmosphere/server was incredible!! We will be back ♥️“
“I was walking and saw this place in a strip mall. It looked good, not fancy. The lady at the counter had a huge smile and was very welcoming. The ramen looked good so I got the Tonkatsu ramen with the Charsu pork. It was amazing. The broth was rich and silky, just the way it's supposed to be. The egg was perfectly cooked too. The mushrooms were good as were the bamboo shoots. The noodles were just right. The portion is big, but not too big. The prices are also decent. This little gem is well worth it. Seek it out.“
“A really fun concept with the conveyor belt. Limited options with the carb choices, it's either ramen, rice noodle, or rice cake only, and the only vegetables that I saw that were green were lettuce, cabbage, broccoli and bok choy. This place gets BUSY. I was dining for one only, so I was seated immediately at the bar. Two of the sakes that I requested were sold out. They also have sushi, fruit, some side dishes like kimchi and seaweed, and dessert. I sure left feeling full.“
“We ordered catering for 10 people. Everyone loved it. It made the party so much better, especially having no kitchen mess, and it was an automatic hit. There were 10 of us and there was still plenty of leftovers, and I watched people go back for seconds and thirds.“
“For the best eating experience in town' look no further... Habachi Jr. is the place. Always consistently cooked food's great service in a clean environment' priced right' and so well managed' so simply put... the best restaurant in town. Thanks everyone!Parking: Always available.Kid-friendliness: Enough table space for the younger aged kids' and moms have enough arm room to care for the kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of required space needed for those with a handicap or special assistance needs.“
“O-Ku is my absolute favorite restaurant EVER! I take all my friends and family and it’s the best spot for a romantic date! The food is always so delicious and beautifully presented. The whole atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is the best service I’ve ever had. Everyone is so nice, helpful, and genuinely friendly. My favorite servers all work here and I’m not the only regular who would say the same. I love you O-Ku Nashville! Shout out to some great servers I’ve had and highly recommend: Leah (the cool environmental enthusiast), Chance (the jokester with the biggest smile), and Ally (the crafty gal with the coolest handmade earrings and the sweetest heart). Food recommendations: PLEASE try the omokase. It is a 6 course tasting meal that is different every time you come in. I’ve had the best dishes from this meal and the nigiri are always so delicious. But honestly, I recommend anything and EVERYTHING. To start- king pao Cauliflower. Hot dish- get the Tokyo chicken bowl. Sashimi- the usuzukari or hamachi carpachio. From the robata grill- kamo negi (duck breast). A sushi roll- the playboy. Also the have O-toro, Uni, and so many specialty fishes like kin medai and shima aji!!!!“
“Not only was the food excellent, but so was the service. The staff was so understanding when I asked then to if the music could be turned down a little when the noise was over stimulating my son. I can’t say enough good things about this place.“
“On sunday @ noon maybe the music was a bit too loud? Otherwise a nice place. We both had a bento box. Plenty of sushi to choose from but it looks like they also cater to the "I want sugary goop on my sushi" crowd. Which kind of defeats the purpose in my opinion.“
“This is the best sushi in Nashville. You will not get the same expensive ‘flare’ you find at other restaurants in town, but the flavors and variety are excellent. The atmosphere is very and enjoyable, and the staff are very attentive. I wish they would open a location in East Nashville so I don’t have to drive as far to enjoy their food, but it is worth the trip across town!“
“Outstanding. Quality is amazing. They do not skimp. If we lived nearby we'd eat here weekly; we were in Nashville two nights, ate here for dinner both nights. I ordered from the "diet menu" -- really should be called the "sauce on the side" menu -- and the dish came loaded with veggies, with an amazing garlic sauce. They also make the best mei fun I've had in my life.“
“Great menu with rolls we have never seen or had. Prices were pretty good for sushi and the Ramen bowl sushi combo seems like a great deal for $20. A bit disappointed by the draft Sapporo. We normally get a can and was looking forward to draft but is was not very carbonated and was not very cold. I'd rather have received the can. Rolls were good size, well made and fresh tasting. I would recommend the ahi seared tuna salad as you get good amount of tuna that way and was delicious with ginger dressing. Conveniently located near our hotel and just down the road is a great ice cream parlor for dessert! Note: we were going to have the fried brownie dessert but they were out of ice cream (? Pssst..younext door to a grocery store). Overall was great place to check out if you like sushi. Next time I'll try the Ramen as they did look great and you can choose type of broth, protein which is cool.“
“Love this little spot! Just ask your waiter if the dish can be made vegan. I don't think can make vegan for all dishes, but quite a few options. I always get some noodle dish and with their Jasmine rice. They also serve alcohol and have sushi! Updated from previous review on 2024-04-06“
“Stopped by on sunday with mt fiance we loved it. Best sushi and miso ive had in awhile i can not wait to come back this weekend to try out more of the menu. Even though were not from gallatin its worth the hour drive from bowling green for us.“
“Wow! What a great little sushi joint! For starters we had the pork gyoza and they were excellent. Then we all had salads and miso souls. The ginger dressing on the salad was some of the best dressing I think I have ever had. The soup was so good. My wife had the salad roll and she really enjoyed it. My son had the Big Bill roll and it was awesome. I had the Rainbow roll and it was very good. We all shared a bowl of shrimp fried rice and it was soooo good, some of the best fried rice we have had. Definitely a place we will go back to next time in town and we highly recommend it if you like sushi!“
“We love this restaurant! We went around 7pm on a Wednesday, and were seated right away. The service is excellent and they are very attentive. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box and my husband got beef bulgogi bento box. When I say it's a bunch of food, trust me! There's sooooo much! Each box comes with your choice of 4 rolls, we both got the California roll, veggie and shrimp tempura, soup and salad, two crab cream cheese rolls, rice and your entree. All of the items were delicious! It was so much food, that we took all of our many entrees home. The leftovers were delicious too! The restaurant has plenty of parking, and a decent amount of tables. There is seating around the sushi bar too! We will be back!“
