Like the family depicted in the movie, our family now enjoys finding the local Chinese restaurant on Christmas Day and having dinner there. You aren't looking for high-quality, top shelf, off-the-chain food to mesmerize you or leave you speechless. It doesn't even matter if it's kinda dirty, its okay, it's to be expected. Remember, you're wanting the feel of realness, which includes banter, laughter, jokes, quality time with the family. As you are absorbed into your family you'll hopefully more than likely forget about the weird smell, the unattended kids running back and forth to the buffet, seeing them reach with their cute little germ-infested hands and get food off of the buffet stands. Ah yes, the spirit of the holidays! What makes it worthwhile is the lovely smile of our server, Robbie. She has worked at this location for 32 years and went above and beyond as a server to make our Christmas experience extra special. She gave us candy and gave my wife a hand signed, personalized Christmas card! She was amazing! We night go back just to visit with her.“

“We ordered the steamed bao, pan seared dumpling, Xiao long Bao, and beef shank noodle. Steamed Bao was super nice and fluffy! The pan seared dumplings were very nice and crispy on the outside. The Xiao long Bao's skin was thick enough to keep the soup in but not too tough. We ordered pork with all the different style dumplings and they're all nice and juicy.I like the beef shank noodle a lot but it was a bit too spicy for my kids. This is where they get their five stars. When I asked to ensure it was made mild, they offered a bowl of just the base broth so the kids can have the noodle with the very mild broth.Thank you for the good food and service!“
“Located right near the Belcourt Theater, The Dumpling House was a fantastic find.Having never been there before we needed a little guidance. I inquired about what’s good. I was asked if I liked spicy, with an enthusiastic YES, I was recommended the peanut butter pork dumplings and I added an order of the hot and sour soup. My wife, does not, she order 1/2 chicken and coriander and 1/2 pork.In short everything was f’n amazing. So good. The amount of spice was perfect. The hot and sour soup was so flavorful. The milk tea was also a delight.Everything was prepared so well. If I had to give the place one strike was the fact that the tables were sticky and dirty from spilled soy sauce.They were very busy, so I just cleaned it off myself. Other than that, the staff was very nice and just lovely.We will certainly be back again. This place is the real deal.“
“Was really excited to eat at a sit down Chinese restaurant. It is not very big and they are super busy. The staff is very nice, attentive, quick, and very hard working. There was a short wait for a table. Once seated was waited on immediately! Soup and appetizers served very quickly nice and hot. The staff never stopped moving. I don't think there was more than 7 maybe 8 staff and the take out orders never stopped. Seafood dinner order was plenty for two. Great portions to share. So happy this restaurant popped up in my search. Highly recommend and will be back!“

I ordered from the "diet menu" -- really should be called the "sauce on the side" menu -- and the dish came loaded with veggies, with an amazing garlic sauce. “China Cottage came to us recommended by our Kennesaw Farms community. We have had so many disappointments that we were wary of giving any one else a try. We were craving Chinese food and decided to give China Cottage a try...FANTASTIC and SO Good! It was so refreshing to have wonderful chicken fried rice and pork fried rice made with REAL meat and not some diced cube of supposed meat. The pepper steak was amazing, the hospitality was warm and welcoming. “Fantastic! We recently moved to the area and the last couple Chinese restaurants have not been up to par. We saw China King when went to Food Lion next door and had to try it. I love BBQ spare ribs which are hard to find in TN. These were fabulous with fried rice, not greasy but flavorful. Excellent sweet sauce. My son had Pork Lo Mein which he said was great. The egg drop soup was excellent! We have found our weekly go to with nice lunch specials and friendly staff. Our pick up order was ready on time and still warm when we got home. Thank you so much!!“
“I ordered via door dash and door dash took forever to get the food to me. They kept drawing out the delivery time and I was worried the food and fried appetizers would be cold and soggy. So I was delighted, absolutely thrilled to see panda house had packed the Rangoon's and shrimp rolls perfectly! They had cooled a bit but we're still hot and crunchy! The rice was still steaming and the garlic chicken was delicious and warm!Even though door dash dropped the ball and took an extra 35 min to get the food to me, panda's food was still hot and delicious. “The concept is great. My girls loved the train, they could see the plate of sushi before getting it. The lunch prices were very reasonable except for the cake. They had an extremely thin slice of cake that could fit in the palm of your hand and it was a 3.99 upcharge. Service was great and food tasted fantastic.“

We were pleasantly surprised! Very good food and the serving sizes are plenty. I am a big eater and I am actually walking away full!!!Keep in mind that it is a small lobby and has only 4 tables.
