“It’s tough to judge pizza coming from the Chicago area but this is seriously good pizza. The service was excellent. Salad bar was very good and fresh. Overall excellent experience highly recommend.Parking: Parking was plentiful.Kid-friendliness: It’s just fine for kids.”

“We have visited the restaurant three times since discovering it a few months ago. Great menu selection and the traditional Mexican decor you would expect. Not on the menu are their brisket tacos and sometimes this special is posted on their sign outside. If they have the brisket in the kitchen they will make the tacos for you during the times when it's not posted as a special. They will also give you the "lunch special" price of 3 brisket tacos for $7.99 if you come during lunch hours. This is my favorite item at the restaurant and the best deal!! We've also tried the cheese enchiladas (not my favorite), chili relleno, rice and beans, salads, margaritas, flautas/tacquitos. Sadly the cheese enchiladas are NOT prepared the way we are used to on the west coast and that is the case with all of the Mexican restaurants in the area. Also, we wish their salsa was more of a fresh pico de gallo type. The second time we visited the restaurant the server charged us the à la cart prices for everything including the brisket tacos without mentioning we could've saved a lot more money ordering as combination plates or lunch specials. The price difference was $55 vs $26 for 2 people for the same exact order!! Now we know. That's why we are giving 4 and not 5 stars. Besides that we have no complaints. There is a Maryville location which we have not tried yet. Definitely come and visit El Jimador!”

“Outstanding food, an abundant amount of food, it was hot, fresh, delicious, and their were many great selections to choose from, very prompt service and they genuinely care about their quality of food and service to their customers. I would have to say this is the best restaurant in Madisonville, Athens and Sweetwater. We will definitely be choosing this amazing restaurant and the healthy food choice for our future dining.”

“Love happy hours 2pm -4pm. It was a beautiful day for a drive and we stopped and ordered 2 root beers and a large cheese to curd to split the root beers are so yummy and the cheese curds were great. The price can't be best with a tip it was under 10 dollars we love the place everyone should give it o try, highly recommend”

“This is now Kelly’s cafe, but the main sign has not been changed yet. There are 2 ways to order: either you go through the cafeteria line which has 3 meats, several sides, fruit/salads, rolls/corn bread and dessert options or you order off of the menu. My son ordered off the menu, and the rest of us went through the line. My daughter felt that the pork chops were dry. I liked it. The meatloaf was very good. It was quick. My son had his food from the menu by the time I sat down to eat with my food from the buffet line. The desserts were all great. The corn bread was a bit dry, but the rolls were perfect. It was a really different experience. We were well taken care of. If I wasn’t from out of state I would return.”

“Food was good, but portions were small. Ordered bacon cheeseburger with an egg and waffle fries. Got maybe 7 fries and burger was size I would've made at home. Food was good tho and will go back. Place was busy so definitely a local hangout.”

“Now here is a place like no other. It's just down right good home cooking. ( I personally want them to be my personal cook!!) EVERYTHING on that menu is at the top of its game. I can't express how good it all is. If you never tried this restaurant... I strongly suggest you do. With a good hearty breakfast to menu lunch or cafeteria style choices.... this is the place to be. If your a coffee lover like me.... there coffee is like no other. It's soooo good. 1 outta 10... I give it a 11. Thank you for the great service and food.
