“We attended a sold-out concert of The Creekers at Common John’s on September 6, 2025. Despite the crowd, the staff handled everything flawlessly. The food from The Mess Hall was delish as always. The Snakebite was also a hit. Kudos to the crew at Common John’s for making it such a great night!”

“For the past couple of months my wife and I have been enjoying our Sunday lunch at the Mercantile Cafe. We have lived in the area for about 5 years now and have just recently found this great place to eat. The home cooking reminds me of my Mother’s food she fixed for me growing up. The fresh vegetables and the deliciously prepared meats, rolls and not to mention the deserts. I love the carrot cake!! All these are simply Devine. I love the crème corn, green beans and mashed potatoes. The Chicken and dressing makes every Sunday feel like Thanksgiving. I really enjoy the personal service we get when we are there as well. The owner, Renee always makes it to every table to ensure our experience was above satisfactory. The friendly service from the staff and conversation always puts a smile on our face and wanting to come back week after week. Thank you for great food and service. Highly recommend !!”

“Mariah is the best! My husband has eaten here many times as he's on the road for work often, but today was the first time I ate here. He is pulling out boat so it was easy to stop here, but he also assured me I'd love it. He wasn't wrong! Cleanest restaurant I've seen in YEARS! Even the parking lot. I LOVE the old decor, BUT it is clean and they've updated not just kept old worn out carpet or furniture like so many places do. But they keep the vibe! Yall this is a family-owned business who clearly cares about their customer and their employees, which as a business owner is something we notice. Ok onto the food. Exceptional! They make it for you when you order. This place was doing a lot of business both sit-down and take-out. We love to support local establishments and we will be back! I complimented Mariah and the whole experience and she appreciated it and yes we tipped also! Thankful for hard-working people like Mariah and others working here today. We enjoyed our lunch very much!”

“I usually eat here for the little buffet they offer.. chicken, taters, beans . Anywho food is good. Breakfast well it was ok.. I ordered a Western omelette... Usually Ham, Onions, Green pepper, cheese... Unfortunately the omelette had peppercini peppers and not green peppers on it so it tastes completely different was not a fan of it. They're fried potatoes need work I need to be put on the flat iron not dipped into the oil to cook just put them on the flat top cook them that way. Other than that coffee was always topped off glass of water I had two biscuits which I did not eat so but I'll get to them later on today. But overall I've always liked this place for their buffet. So I thought I would try breakfast not so well. So don't let it throw you off I says it's a hit or miss it could be. I would try pancakes or something another else with over easy eggs and go from there.”

“I was on my way to Florida while having an awful day until I stopped at Manchester’s Starbucks. A young woman making drinks came to the window to give my my drink she made…I think her name is Kayla(she has the MOST beautiful eyes I have EVER seen), was so sweet and engaging with my rant of how terrible the drive has been. She actually made me laugh for the first time today. She was very polite and showed a lot of empathy. She left a note on my cup “Have a safe drive and keep your head up pretty girl”. Her smile was already contagious enough!! The whole experience had me smiling the rest of my way to Florida. I highly recommend!”

“My family uses this Franchise probably 3-4 times a week. They are always on time and have smiles on their faces. I'm not very good with names but it is safe to say every driver that delivers to my home are ALWAYS very polite and courteous. I am a double amputee(legs) and it is a pleasure having the opportunity to do business with them. Even with all the options there are now with Doordash and all the others. I always look forward to that delicious Papa Johns Pizza! Thank you to the whole crew. Management please take care of these guys! AWESOME!😁”
