“Had a small dark at shut the cluck up and it started out as a little spicy but it got hotter over time. I eat lots of really spicy food and this was a challenge for me.Dirty bird fries were ordered at the middle spicy level. They were a good spice level and good flavor. The rest of the fries were good as well.The collard greens were great.The banana pudding is really good.“
“They still have it going on here at Gus's on Mendenhall! As I entered, I was promptly greeted by the staff and seated immediately. Once seated, my server Ariel, brought my beverage quickly and took my order. She also notified me about the special they had going on, which I thought was nice if I wanted to get the biggest bang for my buck. The food was excellent as usual and came out quickly. During my dining experience, Ariel checked on me multiple times and offered desert once I was done. I swear this lady has to get about 100k steps a day because she had multiple tables and I watched her take care of all of them. Gus is lucky I live in Atlanta, or I would be trying to steal their employee for my establishment.“
“The name insinuates that it's a family environment, sit in type of restaurant. Actually, it's more of a run in and run out style restaurant. The owner of the old Cheesecake corner has opened this quaint little place in honor of his mom. I can only rate the desserts (not the food). That's why I rated it a 4. The blueberry cheesecake is quite tasty. It's not made with Philadelphia cream cheese. It has more texture but it's fabulous! Warm the brownie for 15 secs and is every bit of dilectable in every bite! For people taking a walk in the neighborhood, it's a spot to stop in and pick up a quick throat guzzling beer or water. I'm not a chicken and waffle kinda girl but I suggest you stop by and try it.“

“This one is for the book, cocktail, and food lovers! Libro/Novel has easily become one of my favorite places to go! I've been for brunch, lunch, dinner, and happy hour! Basically, whatever they have to offer, I've tried it...twice! They have local good for purchase and it's a bookstore and restaurant, what more can you ask for. The service is always top tier, and the food is filling and flavorful. I can really just sit in there for hours listening to a little jazz, finding a friend at the bar and just admiring the atmosphere. I love to write so this place is a dream come true for me. “I just love Chicken Salad Chick with all the selections, friendly service, and great atmosphere. I introduced CSC to my husband and he was so impressed that he got an extra scoop to go. I got the Jalapeño Holly and grape salad. It was such a fantastic combo. Big portions and full of flavor.“

“Honestly I passed on this place several times because the menu didn't look all that interesting. I am really glad I finally tried it. I had the catfish and shrimp. Being from Mississippi, the catfish capital of the world, I have had the best catfish you could ever taste so I am pretty picky. If it's not good I won't even eat it. Soul Fish did not disappoint. The catfish and the shrimp were excellent. I don't typically like sweet hush puppies but they were pretty good also. The baked sweet potato was I great paring I had never tried. I really hate I am just now giving this place a try. Definitely stop by. Not many places left that use top quality ingredients, cook the food themselves, have great service and still have affordable prices but Soul Fish does. I will definitely be back.“

“This time of year every year I travel to Memphis. I eat almost entirely Piccadilly during my stay. I've been here 4 times a week for the last few weeks and the food is spot on. They cook a little low sodium, which most places do now, but salt is on the table.From the first time I walked in until present the atmosphere and the staff were all like being around kin folk. They are super nice and do take a liberty of talking to you and treating you like your at a family get together instead of a restaurant.The dinning area is old and somewhat worn but Clean. I've never been in their restroom so cannot comment. I always feel comfortable and safe when I'm there, relaxed. Even the customers nod and say hi like they all know me, which they don't but the whole place is really homey.“

The food was amazing, I’m not a big fan of chicken, but this chicken is beyond delicious. Best chicken I’ve ever had by far!
