My favorite Mexican restaurant cozy atmosphere and the food is good every time. They also have a small bar you can order beer and liquor drinks. The margaritas are good too on the weekdays they're stronger depending on clientele.
First time guests late on a Monday night. No waiting in line to get in, seated right away. Good chips and salsa, not too spicy. I had a chicken quesadilla, and it was stuffed with chicken. Good rice and beans with it. Fast service, except for when we wanted to check out. This has been my favorite Mexican restaurant for years! Anytime someone wants to go out to eat, I suggest Playita! Being a family owned/ran restaurant, the service is always friendly and inviting. Food arrives QUICKLY and is delicious. I always get tacos, but my friends and family have tried a variety of foods that have always been suburb, and the cheese dip is to die for!
