Restaurantji's Millington picks for the finest Mexican cuisine.
“Good food and service. Prices are reasonable. I had the shrimp fajitas. Shrimp were not overcooked. Kids had the Pollo feliz cheesy chicken and rice. Plenty of food on the kids plate. The salsa was the best I have had at most the Mexican restaurants in a while. It was flavorful and not watery.“
“First came here in 1981, when they were in a tiny place by the RR tracks. As far as "real, authentic" Mexican food, I've never had it, so I can't compare the food here to that. All I know is that we like the food here and they have good prices. We personally love the cheese they use. (for cheese dip and mucho nachos) It's smooth and creamy, like Velveeta- it's NOT like the "cheese in a can" from Sam's club!! We come here at least once a week.Vegetarian options: Husband always gets beans vs beef in his burritos.“
“Man, I don't think there's a single thing I don't like about this place! The people are sweet, the food is the best for miles and miles, the atmosphere inside is wonderfully merry, and to top it all off they're the only local restaurant in this cuisine that packs its to-go orders so well you actually have a comparable experience at home! Fantastic, 10/10, love y'all.“
“I was introduced to this food truck after the St. Jude marathon by Ree-Ree Sanders. I believe it was a mixture of my hungriness and curiosity that drew me try this delicacy. I ordered three supreme chicken tacos and I wish I could have ordered three more. I swallowed those tacos before I made it home. I will definitely look for them in the future. Thanks for the recommendation Ree-Ree.“
“A great restaurant in the Millington area This is a stand-alone building on the north side of US 51 directly across a side street from the Holiday-inn express. This location opened in 2016. There is plenty of parking around the entire restaurant. You enter through the front set of double doors. The hostess will seat you. There is a large u-shaped bar to the left as you enter. Most of the tables appear to be booths. The outside and inside decorations are very colorful. We were given salsa and chips as soon as we sat down. They were very good. They have a large and extensive drink and food menu. I ordered chicken fajita's and a tea. The waitress was friendly but did not speak English well which caused some challenges for my group. The food came out within 15 minutes and was a large portion. The food was warm but not hot. The service was slow as I think there was not enough staff for the restaurant. The prices were reasonable for the economy but the tip was already added to the check without my prior knowledge. I had several friends try their drink options and seem very pleased with the options. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with good food at a reasonable price. I would recommend it for other visitors wanting a good Mexican meal and eating experience.“
“Loved it the food was good and the workers were very nice and my little sister loved the birthday part a-go-to agin place certainly suggesting it.Kid-friendliness: They have a kid friendly meal with chicken and French fries like any child would want but instead of chicken tenders it’s teriyaki“
