“My family and I came here for years prior to the new owners and the new place opening up. We loved it then but we love it now even more!! Every single time we come is a 10/10 experience. From the greeting when you first walk in, to the time you pay and leave it is just a great time. I turned 33 today and chose to eat here for my birthday dinner with my family for every reason they stand for. It’s a family environment with good people who work there and run the business. My Dads wallet fell out of his pocket while at the table and Chandler called to let me know they had found it. You don’t find that kind of honest work too often anymore and his parents and the owners should be so proud to have such a good man representing their business. Reasons like this is a prime example of why we will frequent Side Porch for years to come. Thank you all so much, especially Liam, for such a nice birthday dinner with my family. ?“
“I’ve visited Pier 64 several times because it’s close by my home but actually, the food is really good and the staff is absolutely amazing. I’ve been there during lunch hours as well as dinner, and the service is always exceptional.Parking: The times I’ve visited I never had an issue about parking.Kid-friendliness: I notice parents bringing their kids there after school for possibly a celebration. I applaud the fact that the restaurant is very versatile in that it accommodates an adult atmosphere but can switch to deal with children as well.“
“Our server was very nice and attentive. We had a small wait to get a table but that was fine with us, it means the food is good if it's packed. I like the way the chicken and steak are finely chopped in the mixed fajita. My kid devoured her Quesadilla Roja. The salsa was really good too. We will definitely be back.Parking: The lot circles the building. If they're really busy you might have to make an extra lap around to find a spot.“
“I have been coming to Nam King for over 30 years. They have the best Fried Rice and egg rolls in the city of Memphis. If you can’t get good fried rice, the rest of the food will be poor. I have followed them all over the city and the store in Raleigh has always been my favorite. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends and anyone else who asks me where the best Chinese food is. I was so grateful when they reopened. Thank you Bonnie Zhao for keeping the restaurant going!“
“I go here probably once a month lol favorite seafood spot. Food is always hot and comes out quickly. I’ve had great service every time except once with a group of friends (but I wrote it off as her probably not having a good day). Don’t sleep on their wings or drinks! Drinks always mixed perfectly and the wings have amazing flavor.“
“This Captain D’s is closer to my house so I frequent it..I hardly ever have to take my food back(i.e missing items or doesn’t have what ordered). I do not mind waiting longer for my food to be made to order & fresh. Staff are usually always friendly and ensure 100% great customer service.The lobby can get messy @ times but staff will get right on it.“
“Every time we go to Memphis, we stop here. Their food and service are excellent. One of us always gets the catfish and I choose either fried shrimp or the cuban. You wouldn't expect that the cuban would be a good choice at a restaurant that highlights seafood,but you'd be wrong. It consistently is the best one I've had regardless of the restaurant. Service is great. Refills come unsolicited,which is refreshing.“

“Our motorcycle riding club had our National event here for 2023 and after days of riding, fast food and food trucks, this was a blessing. They were able to get our entire party (impromptu group) seated all together and the service was outstanding as was the food. Plus they got the Ole Miss game on for me! Nice break from the road food!“

Service was quick as well.The menu items with Jerk in the title didn't actually taste like Jerk in my opinion. The flavor was there and the texture of my dish was moist and tender but when comparing it to other Jerk meals I've had, it doesn't compare.I'd still recommend a visit and would return when I'm back in the area“
“Capt JJs is my favorite eating place in Memphis, They have a wide variety and it's always good. I just wish that I didn't have to drive from Bartlett. They do custom orders. They're fast and friendly. The men are fantastic but if the dark-haired woman is working, check your order before you leave. She frequently gets orders wrong and won't return to the window til you call.Their fish sandwich is the best in town. Mom loves their chicken livers.Beware, freshly cooked food is very, very hot and will scald your mouth bad. I almost wrecked.“
“I'd have to say that the services here had to have been the best I've had in a long time. I was quite disappointed when the delivery driver stole the order, but that was all fixed because not only did the owner make sure to contact their support but he personally delivered the order himself with apologies for any inconveniences. 10 out of 10 service!!!“
“The food was so good, I have never been here and had a bad experience. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I have made this my favorite location. My granddaughter enjoyed her meal and that's saying a lot for a teenager. I still thought it was pricey for what we got a 4pc fish meal, an extra piece of fish and and a kids fish meal $22“
