“Arrived in Nashville on 12/8/25 very hungry on my way to Whitwell, TN. I stopped at Kroger and decided to see what was in the area. I saw a sign for a greek restaurant so I decided to search just on that type of food. I settled on Gyro Tabouli as the score wass 4.8 with the others more in the 4.5/46 range. I was a bit skeptical as I drove into the parking lot as the restaurant is in a strip mall area. NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY THE COVER. The food was fantastic. I order the #6 and it was a generous helping of food that I was able to take over 1/2 to my destination and eat it as supper that night. While waiting on my food and during my eating of the food, I talked with the son of the owner and he stated they had been there 15 years; this made me very confident in my choice of food. Everything was tasty and fresh. The hummus was so creamy and very flavorful; worth the stop.”

I had my heart set on the filet mignon w/ sprinkles of blue cheese and didnt care what it cost as long as it was good and trust me, I wasn't disappointed! IT WAS FABULOUS! The Greek salad was wonderful and my husband really liked his NY steak. Our friends loved the Chicken Parmigiana and a dish of chicken stuffed with spinach, cheese and gray goose vodka sauce. The skewers of shrimp were to die for, as were the smashed potatoes. Our Son loved the rib eye and pasta!Thank you all so much for making the meal worth traveling from Vermont for. We will definitely be back. Just be a little careful with the corner of the tables, one was a little sharp and caused a abdominal bruise on my husband (no hes not a large man). Hopefully it will be rectified as we told the very nice waiter.”

“I've been following Music City Tea on FB for a while now, hoping to make it there. Well today we did and it was such a great visit! We met Adam, and sat and taste tested a few teas with a wonderful lady who was new to Chinese teas. We were able to meet some great people and got some great deals on tea and teaware (a lot of stuff was 50% off normal pricing!) We were hoping to meet Jenny but maybe next time. Till then, I recommend this place to anyone who loves tea or Asian traditions. Stop by, have a few sips of tea and enjoy great company! 干杯！”

Waitress was from Rutherford store filling in also and she was sweet. I struck up a convo with them and they about shat when I told them I was 46, they said I looked 32 so that made my day! For Americans and who don’t love to eat spicy food it’s fine, but for those who are a big fan of authentic sichuan spicy hotpot, that soup is a joke. And for people who are easy to get overstimulated by lights and music, yeah the overwhelming LED lights and music there are no fun. The one dish, I am unsure about is their grilled cheese sandwich. It seemed unexceptional and a little overpriced. Although using Gouda cheese is really nice, but it was under graded by the use of the toast. Maybe if they had used thick toast or croissant toast or something a little special, I wouldn't have commented on the price. However, I still gave them a 5 because I believe that everything else makes up for one item I personally didn't like. Thank you Dapper Owl!”

“We lived near Love’s Pizza ever since it came to Murfreesboro but never tried it—BIG MISTAKE. We moved and ended up staying in a hotel in Murfreesboro on Christmas. One of the only restaurants open was Love’s, so we ordered pizza. The people working were so nice, and the pizza was amazing. We couldn’t believe how fresh the toppings were and how great it tasted! We wish we still lived close. Best customer service in the Boro! Thank you for feeding my family and being so kind!”

“First time here and everything was excellent! Left to right we had the baked salmon roll (great for sushi first timers or people afraid of sushi), cas roll, wasabi roll, and love me roll. All of these were fresh, never fishy or slimy, and had enough sauce on top that it added flavor without drowning the sushi roll. Also had the salmon, yellow tail, egg and scallop nigiri which had a the perfect petite amount of rice without being an overwhelming bite.

“My husband wanted me to relax and “hit the easy button” this year for Thanksgiving. So we bought the usual Ham and Smoked Turkey- but this year he wanted to add a few of the sides to our menu so we could try them.
The meat went over well with everyone, but the sides left a little to be desired. I understand it’s hard to have great flavor when you’re mass producing things- but the sides for Thanksgiving is one area you have to get right. And these fell short in our experience and opinion.
Also- my husband noticed that some of the sides were either at or close to the expiration date. That’s concerning because it makes me wonder: how old were the items that we picked up?
We’ll continue getting HBH ham and smoked turkey- but I don’t think we will be replacing our homemade sides with HBH sides next year. Nothing beats homemade sides, and that includes Sweet Potato casserole and Greens cooked to perfection.”

However the other treats and the great customer service definitely made up for it. I will be back to try more things! All other items I chose tasted bland-as if needing salt or more seasoning. Meatloaf was cold. Butter patties were ice cold, never to soften. Not sure if it was because the ladies’ restroom was near the kitchen, but the tile floor was so slick/greasy (not wet from water), I was afraid of slipping and falling.”

“At 85, I know excellent food. Theirs is just the best around. I crave their country ham. I rate their cornbread dressing along with my mother's. I especially enjoy their slaw and cornbread. Other vegetables are just fine as well. Of course, they have delicious chocolate cream and coconut cream pies. I go about 10:30 and can get my ham and some other goodies and then when 11 comes around I can order at least two plates to bring home. It is always a delight. I surely like all the ladies who serve! And for people who are easy to get overstimulated by lights and music, yeah the overwhelming LED lights and music there are no fun.
