“Amazing find in East Tennessee. We were the only ones there for a Thursday evening, but most of their business is during lunch. Everything is absolutely delicious and not made like anything I’ve had before. From the ridiculously tender shredded beef in the stroganoff to the flavor bomb cabbage rolls and the simple, yet satisfying borscht, we didn’t want to stop shoveling it all into our faces. This is easily the best food in all of Newport, and probably all of the lakeway area.“
“First time at this place. Was looking on line for a good place to eat and found this place close to where we were staying. Have to say it was an excellent choice. The food was amazing. We had the filet mignon cooked medium rare and it was amazing. Best steak ever. Also had the lobster tail and baked potato with onion rings. Would definitely recommend this place. The place had a great atmosphere and the staff was very friendly and courteous.“

“First time here. We didn’t try any of the food but came for ice cream and was not disappointed! Hubby got the Hot Fudge Cake Sundae and I asked for a medium chocolate soft serve. I cannot believe how big the soft serve was and how delicious the cake sundae is! Both of these for only $8! Super impressed will be back to try more items on the menu!“
“1st time here. I'm a truck driver so I parked at the Loves. I wasn't interested in godfathers pizza or Chester's chicken . I saw this place when I pulled into the Loves. I got a blt with extra bacon and a order of fries. It was very good.“

“I haven't been here since it was called Tastee Freeze, lol yep I'm a little old. I saw their lunch special on FB and decided this was where I'm eating lunch. Meatloaf, white beans and fried green tomatoes. Delish. Everything was so good and the icing on the cake...the small piece of coconut cake that was included, yummy. I will be going back.“

Most of the time they have entertainment inside in winter and outside in summer and the singers are amazing it's relaxing to eat have a few cold drinks and listen to the singers .“

There's no obligation to buy anything but sure, if I'm spending the night and the restaurant is open then I will.I arrived at close to 9pm so I parked in the back and locked up for the night. This morning, a basic eggs and bacon and sausage breakfast with coffee coffee coffee. Biscuits looked great but I'm back on my no carbs so I skipped it. Great friendly service and I love that they now have wifi in the restaurant. The food is always good, my only complaint is to go orders... it seems like sauces or an $+extra is missing. They've always made it right later, though.Parking: Parking has never been an issue for us. Depending on the time of the day, you can park closer than other days, but there has never been an issue with not having parking. There is no cost to parking. Restaurant w/ separate Bar entry, back patio, scheduled bands, and other activities...“

The manager Vicky who was t the manager she actually came over to check on our dinner. I was so impressed by the service and the food was great .my husband and I will definitely go back. “I loved this place so much that I returned for my brothers birthday. It's an almost 2 hour drive but worth every bit of the trip. I purposely didn't eat earlier and was starving.
