I have been a loyal customer of Billy's Time-Out Deli since I could walk. The first food I ate there was a Ham and Cheese hogie with fried Mushrroms. Now, my all-time favorite is a steak in a sack and fried mushrooms. They have the best Baclava in East Tennessee. Billy's Time-Out Deli would always be one of my favorite places and childhood memories for me.Parking: The parking lot is small and is shared with two other businesses. So parking can be limited or none at all sometimes.

I go to Billy's at least once a week nowadays, I consider it to be the best sit down spot in Oak Ridge. I have had about 7 different sandwiches at Billy's, they have all been perfect. Bread is perfect, lots of meat and so far next a missed toppings. All of their desserts are pretty wonderful also, I think this is a must try in Oak Ridge.Vegetarian options: There are Vegan/Vegetarian sandwich options.

They need a set schedule for they are always closed. They also tend to not answer the phone for takeout orders. I have eaten at this place for years but I'm over the inconsistency. GO ELSEWHERE!!

This is the type of place that has been there forever and will probably outlive us all. A true "hole in the wall" and "mom and pop" in all the traditional ways. Small menu, lunch specialties, good food for the common man. Be prepared to wait at lunch, everyone knows this place and goes to this place. Looking at a 30 minute wait at least, but once you go a few times, they'll recognize you and have your order written down as you walk in the door.
