Calhoun's offers a decent dining experience with fine food and exceptional service. The staff is courteous, professional, and friendly, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. The exterior features a typical decor, but the scenic view of Melton Lake, where the UT Crew Team practices, makes it worthwhile. They have covered and uncovered seating, allowing dogs in the outside area and providing a patch of grass for them. The restaurant's high point is the stunning sunset view by the lake. Chris, one of the servers, received special recognition for his excellent service during a family visit with seven people.
