“YUMMY YUMMY!!! We left the Hermitage and wanted to go somewhere close to grab a burger, and this was the first option. We got seated immediately, our waitress was so sweet, and the food was.... Oh my gosh... obviously fresh, hot, and *delicious*. I got the Patty melt and fries, my husband got country fried steak with hashbrowns and a cinnamon roll. Portions were perfect and we left there feeling so full and happy that we gave it a try!“

The burlesque show is end to end class with elegance and humour balanced perfectly by co producers Jonny Gowow (musical director) and Tessa Mendoza (hostess / lead dancer). Food also of equally high standard. The prime rib is a near religious experience!“

“Farm to table restaurant that doesn't disappoint!! This was our first time here and it was fantastic. The server took the time to describe how they operate and gave recommendations. The pork chop was cooked to perfection. The catch of the day was swordfish and it too, was great. If you can also try the biscuits for an appetizer (LT Bread Service). “Apr 2024 - After our Bluebird Cafe plan fell through, Marjie made early reservations at Jane’s for Dinner and music on Sunday night. We thoroughly enjoyed the unique menu, especially the okra appetizer. John, the proprietor, told us about his place and we settled in to listen to Addy/Domino. Fantastic musicianship from the various band members who seemed to gradually increase every few songs. I’m not sure we ever heard any original material like I expected, but she’s a wonderful singer of classics. We headed back across the river and got to see the TN statehouse all lit up on the hill.“

“This was our favorite spot on Broadway. We spent a week in Nashville and went to Robert's every day. Great music all day and the Fried Bologna is truly delicious and cheap. “We had a lovely evening at the Treehouse. We started with the cheeseboard chosen by the chef. The cheeses were interesting and tasty and the bread was delicious. For entree we had the gnocchi and falafel. We enjoyed both. The server was attentive and knowledgeable. The only odd thing was we sat outside and there were MANY slugs - on the booth, the floor crawling up my foot, heading over the planter...“

“This was my tenth visit to HOC. I'm a local and I bring my friends whenever they are in town, and sometimes my husband and I have visited, just the two of us. I don't typically feel compelled to write a review, but my visit on May 5th has compelled me to do so. First, I will say that the food, service and magic were all excellent. Unfortunately, it seems that HOC has become quite selective when it comes to their "strictly enforced dress code". A gentleman wearing jeans and a dress shirt sat at the table next to us (he looked nice, but...jeans??) while a few young women had on shorts (not denim) and cowboy boots. Worse yet, I saw two women in dresses so short that both cheeks were hanging out (yes, seriously). When I was there in February, I watched as management refused to allow entry to two women wearing jeans and leggings, and I applauded the manager for making this decision. The dress code is, after all, plastered on the restaurant's website! On one occasion, my husband was wearing a shirt and tie under his woolen pea coat and realized when we arrived he's forgotten his sport coat! Management was very nice and lent him a sport coat. Again, they were very firm on the dress code and insisted he wear the borrowed coat. I'm not sure what has happened, or why HOC has become so lax. My friend actually purchased a dressy outfit to wear a few days ago, and we thought it was fun to get dressed up! My point here is not to complain about the dress code, but if the restaurant is going to make a big deal about it, why aren't they enforcing it at the door like they used to? Why only certain people? Are they more interested in making money than enforcing their own rules? Honestly, it's not as fun to participate when people are walking around in jeans and too-short-dresses that belong at a pool party in Vegas (or on Broadway). I hope HOC examines their policies and puts appropriate measures in place moving forward.“

“Our waitress was beyond friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable with options. Great suggestions and the food was incredible. She also suggested the smoked option for our old fashioned drinks, and we thought the Sidecar with the experience of adding the smoke right by our table was a great add on. We sat right in front of the stage and the live music was fantastic. I celebrated my 39 birthday and couldn’t have been happier with choosing the Supper Club! Can’t wait to come back again when we are in town again.“

“This place is all about the details.- Parking directly below the restaurant was much easier than eating on Broadway.- We noted on the reservation this was an anniversary dinner. The menu and dessert plate had "happy anniversary" emblazoned across them. We're not anti-alcohol but didn't order any drinks; a manager brought out two glasses of Sicilian sparkling lemonade in lieu of champagne.- The steak options were brought out and explained, from origin to rarity to signature presentation. We just went for filets but man, we can see how the prices of A-5 Wagyu or an Australian tomahawk are justified. Even their more "standard" steaks are from a family-owned ranch operating 130 years.- The seafood tower had dry ice embedded so they could pour a little water and have it billowing fog on the table.- All the staff were tops. Our waiter, Brady, gets huge marks for personality, attentiveness, and depth of answers to our questions. Even returned from the bathroom to find he had folded my napkin into a triangle.- Bathrooms had a signature scented candle made by a local candle shop.- Everything was delicious. Appetizers, entrees, desserts -- excellent flavor/seasoning/pairing and meticulous presentation. Never before had someone ask me to cut a steak through the middle as they brought it to ensure it was cooked perfectly to order.We only get out for a nice dinner a couple times per year but have determined this place will get a return visit over Virago, Bourbon Steak, The Twelve Thirty Club, Jeff Ruby's, and 5th & Taylor. Unless we're looking for live music or a rooftop view, the details at Harper's win.“

“4/25/2024 review. The wife and I both got the Smoked Salmon Benedict which was very tasty but a little skimpy on salmon lox for the price. Also grabbed a Sonoma Club Sandwich for later which I found even better - super tasty and a much better portion for the price. Would recommend just note a tad on the pricier side.“

“We were in town all week for meetings and ended the week with an amazing dinner. There was 15 of us, and the service that we received was amazing. I recommend the pork chop, and the prime rib. “We just returned from a fun long weekend in Nashville. Eating at Cafe Roze for dinner was our culinary high light. Their chili eggplant dish was unbelievable. What I wouldn’t do for that recipe…and the talent to prepare it to perfection. I wanted to continue vegetarian so I ordered the simple pasta - also done to perfection. Others at our table had the paprika chicken, wedge salad with salmon and vegetarian dinner bowl. All raved about their dish and ate every bite. This is a very special cafe. “We had a great time last night at Bad Axe! We had a bigger party (around 12-15), and there were never any issues with service. Sam was great! The axe throwing was fun too! “Sat outside on a beautiful March Wednesday for Happy hour and had it to ourselves! Our server was exceptionally friendly and helpful with recommendations. We both ordered off the HH menu- Mockingbird burger jr. - $8 plus $3 if you add bacon, and large serving of tots - $5. HH drinks were full size and delicious. I got the house Pinot Grigio and my hubby got the Dealers Choice cocktail with gin and loved it. Nice place and fun atmosphere!!! We will return!“

“Dined for the first time at The Finch and overall it was a good experience. The atmosphere was great and the food was really good. The main disappointment was the service. Our server was inexperienced, slow and disappeared for long periods of time.“

“I think I have ate at Jack Brown's more than anywhere else in Nashville. It is hands down my favorite late night go to & just a great spot to take friends & family when they're in town! I always order the Cobra Kai (add bacon) & fries. They have a great beer menu as well. I'm usually too full to order Oreos, but if I do I never regret it. When I'm feeling adventurous I get an Elvis & add Jalapeño Jelly. Service is quick, I never really have a long wait unless I'm visiting during peak dinner hours in the summer. Parking lot is not the best so be warned! There is plenty of street parking around the area so that might be your best bet. Its a nonchalant, easy going dive bar covered in stickers and random decor. Highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for an easy going meal & great burgers.“

Star helped us get a table and a time that worked for us, got us seated and acclimated when we arrived, and was super accommodating and nice to my kid. “If you like hidden family run restaurants, this place is a Gem!!! The Mediterranean food is absolutely delicious and it’s all homemade. We ordered the spinach sun-dried tomato dip. It was served warm with toasted rounds. It was so delicious! Then we ordered an Entree of Falafel cakes on rice with a red cabbage slaw, tzatziki sauce, and pita bread. The falafel cakes were so good, we ordered more to go, the red cabbage was seasoned perfectly for a salad. We will be returning to try other dishes, as it was our first time. “This may sound a little weird but my late husband and I visited Pucketts 3 times in 2010 while following the Mississippi from its source. We are Australian and absolutely loved the food at Pucketts. We loved the Catfish, chicken wings and their Green fried tomatoes. I have just made myself Green fried tomatoes for my lunch and it brings the memories come flooding back. “I've eaten at most all the fancy steakhouses in downtown Nashville paying big $$$ for a steak and this place is just as good, if not better. Their ribeye was seasoned and cooked perfectly. You pay for a 12oz steak but it has to be more than that! This was our first time eating here and it did not disappoint! We live in Gallatin and I can see us making the trip down just to eat here. I didn't know much about Chicago cuisine, but now I'm regularly savoring classics like Italian Beef sandwiches (or sammiches as they call them), Chicago hotdogs, and the occasional cannoli. Not to disappoint at all, Enjoyed the atmosphere, the band during lunch was great, not too loud so it fit my style and those in our group. The Burgers are very good along with fresh cut fries with sea salt "tasty"! The hamburgers were juicy and fresh, not large so 1 person could enjoy it without feeling heavy... You go in and order at the bar area, get your number and you can stay there at a table or take your food up to the rooftop overlook and enjoy a very good view of the Cumberland river and Broadway Street below. It's a ways up so take the elevator if you need to do a lot more walking.“
