“From Atlanta and recently took a trip to Chattanooga. Stopped by Pier 88 for their happy hour. Pier 88 reminds me of Juicy Crab but better. Those Pier 88 wings extra crispy and extra wet are 10/10. The hush puppies are solid as well. The drinks were our least favorite. You have to order a Blue Long Island to taste liquor in your drink. Ordered a Cosmopolitan and I think the bartender added sprite. Yikes. Our waiter provided good service. Would definitely dine again“
“Really delicious home-style southern cooking! I don't care for most catfish, but my wife got it here and it tasted really good. I got the roast chicken and it was well seasoned. Okra was fried well and their white beans were super tasty.They seem to serve a mostly take-out clientele, but the staff were very gracious and served us in the dining room. “The name almost says it all. Soulfood Express is owned and operated by an honest and hardworking couple, with an old school work ethic and family values. I've only tried the ribs, fried shrimp and chicken&dressing mains so far and they were amazing. If you want top notch soulfood at a reasonable price, especially these days with inflation, this is your best choice!“
“This was our first time dining here and it won’t be our last. The vibe and the friendly wait staff start the experience on the right foot. We were seated close to the stage area where there was some live music we also really enjoyed. It was steak night and my partner ended up devouring his entire steak and both sides! I got the Parmesan chicken and I swear on everything, it’s the BEST chicken I’ve ever had in my entire life. This is one of the better food and dining experiences I’ve had in quite some time and we will definitely be back to eat here again!“
