We specifically searched for a local place to support for lunch and stopped in and had a great experience after a fun and eventful weekend in Nashville.If I’m being honest, we weren’t expecting it to be attached to a hotel but it didn’t disappoint. Even though the place was packed, we loved the small town atmosphere. Started with the chili cheese fries and a side of fried okra for apps.I had the breakfast burger…great hangover food! My wife the Quesadilla, and our friends a BLT and cheeseburger. The broccoli cheese casserole was delicious! It did NOT disappoint.While our server was VERY busy, she was fantastic and attentive.If you are within 50 miles of this place, do yourself a favor and stop by. “We were traveling back from Florida and stayed at one of the hotels across the street and this place looked interesting.We came in for dinner on a Saturday night and it was rocking. It was kind of hard to tell but I think a lot of the folks were locals so we figured that was a good sign. The waitress was kinda clueless about the beers on tap but I recognized one s it worked out fine.The service was a bit slow so we were worried but when the food came it was really good. We did the Fried Green Tomatoes as an app. and I ordered the Beyond Burger with the Broccoli Casserole. My wife ordered the Bourbon marinated Salmonand it also had great flavor.Pretty good for road food.Vegetarian options: They have a veggie burger, fish and lots of saladsParking: Big parking lot“
“Went on a Saturday around noon. I had a decent steak with a different but delicious tomato and cucumber salad. The others in my vehicle had pasta or the hot brown dishes, which had more than my steak meal. Prices were very reasonable. Great service. Had difficulty getting into the bathroom, which was the only negative.Wheelchair accessibility: Had a lip to get in, but should be fairly easy to overcome. Without moving furniture, a wheelchair would not be able to get into the bathroom.“
“There are many breakfast choices to pick from. I myself am partial to the corned beef and hash. Something that is not available in most places. I usually eat here twice a week for breakfast and probably twice for dinner. If you leave here hungry it's your own fault. Prices are fair and service is better here than most places. My guess is because it's mostly family working here. All and all one of the best local places to eat.“
“Drive thru attendant needs to smile when she is talking to you...l felt like l was interrupting her or something...very cordial at the window...Food.???. Baked potato looked and tasted like yesterday's potato warmed up... couldn't eat it..ordered a piece of chicken with my fish dinner...not quality for what l paid ...who orders chicken at a fish joint, anyways, right ..fish and slaw was very good...l will go back ..“
