Typical Shelbyville experience, a scaled down version of a fantastic sandwich restaurant. No Freestyle drink machine, no way to order online, no way to call the store. The only wayto order online is to get ripped off by Postmates, Uber Eates or Door dash. Firehouse website says they are closed, the app says they are closed, it's 7:19 PM, Google says they are open, who knows because they have no contact number. Our group of 7 tried several different subs. On every sandwich the veggies were fresh and the meat was deli quality. There was a sweet taste to the sandwich that I didn't care for. The staff provided quick and friendly service. The kids got a plastic fireman's hat that they liked.

i’ve been to this location half a dozen times with no issue until the last time. because of the way the manager talked to my boyfriend, I removed 2 stars. I get that remaking a sandwich is annoying. but to flat out tell us “we don’t have to remake your food” and then roll your eyes is unacceptable. the food and other workers are amazing, but obviously management needs training. as someone who has worked in the food industry, if I treated a customer that way, I would’ve...read full review
