Popes is a wonderful place not only to eat but to socialize with everyone and to enjoy each other’s company but if you haven’t met the owners then I think everybody should he’s got the best hamburger cheeseburgers in town and also also the best cook that there is in town. The food is absolutely amazing, so if you haven’t eaten At Popes I think you should one of the best hometown operated restaurants still around. With southern food and hospitality.
We just moved here 2 weeks ago. We love small mom and pop businesses. We stumbled across this gem. We walked in and were greeted with a smile. We sat down, and our server was the sweetest person. (Jennifer ). We told her we just moved here and looking for things to do and a hairstylist. She sat down and chatted with us about local places to see. She also gave me information for a hairstylist. Long overdue for this review, but I visited home in Tennessee for Thanksgiving and found this place for breakfast. Country ham is very hard to find where I live in the midwest and I was excited to see it was on the menu here.
