“I am looking to potentially move to the Chattanooga area and this place caught my eye! Used books and coffee?! Yes please! I spoke with the owner/operator while I was ordering. She told me that her grandmother opened the store initially for used books, but those don't pay the bills (!) so when she sees people finding books here instead of just coming for the coffee that makes her so happy! There's lots of space and many different seating options. I recently started writing a book and this is the perfect place for that- or any work that needs to get done. Plus, $5 used books are a deal! I ACCIDENTALY got 7....and a latte. I'll be back for sure!! I put that I spent $1-10 for the coffee but I did buy 7 books. Just wanted to clarify!Parking: Free street parking! However, I came here on the heels of a winter storm, so there were not as many people out. “When Holy Smokes say they do weddings, THEY REALLY DO WEDDINGS. And they do them damn well! They provided a cigar bar to my wedding and it was a hit. I highly suggest one for any event someone may have. They work with you and are super liberal on your vision for the cigar bar! I have become a regular to the lounge and I can not see myself going anywhere else. They are good people there, a very good community of cigar smokers!“

“The espresso martini mocktail might be my favorite drink anywhere, ever. I would have this as my morning coffee every day if I lived closer. “We went to support a fellow church member who was participating in a songwriters round robin singers night that started at 7pm on a Saturday night in downtown Chattanooga. So many very talented Christian music artists shared in 20 minute increments of uplifting songs that they wrote about living life with the saving presence of Jesus Christ in their hearts. “My husband and I stopped here as it was highly recommended by some friends. We placed a to-go order, and the food was prepared pretty quickly. I love nutella and strawberries, so I always gravitate towards that flavor of crepe, and my husband got a siracha and chicken crepe. Had we stayed to dine in, we probably would have hungout on the old London double-decker school bus. The atmosphere inside was cozy and nicely decorated. Parking was a bit hard to navigate as it's a shared parking lot with other businesses in the area. Street parking was available, but with having a to-go order we didn't want to deal with that hastle. “I’m not a coffee person, but Dutch Bros always makes me happy after my years spent in Oregon. A blended freeze in any flavor is such a good treat. Caramelizer and Cocomo are my favorite! “BeCaffeinated is one of my favorite coffee shops in Chattanooga. I have always had the most pleasant and welcoming experiences at any of their locations (I have been to each one.. multiple times). As much as I love their coffee and enjoying the outdoor seating at the Northshore location, what I love most about BeCaff. is their involvement with the community. Each month the shop hosts giveback days, which I think is totally incredible. Not only that, they offer their space to be used by other community partners and are always involved in something within the community. I know some argue that local coffee shops charge too much, but I will stand by my decisions to support BeCaff because it is evident they are investing in the community, not just a chain trying to make a profit. BeCaffeinated feels like something larger than a local coffee shop, they truly are an incredible member of the community! “This is my favorite go to coffee shop! Not only do they have wonderful coffee and scones, it's a small shop nestled within a historic neighborhood. I love the interior decor and vibe and that it never seems to be overly crowded or busy. It's a hidden gem! I also adore the little shop attached where you can purchase fair trade handmade goods. This is definitely a locals sort of place as it tends to fly under the radar on google maps. As much as I want them to get more business, I also like how quaint and quiet it is now, oh well, I'm bad at keeping secrets anyway!“
“Had a great experience here! Kristina was my barista and she did a fantastic job! The atmosphere was very pleasant with a nice fire pit outside and plenty of comfortable seating options. Also loved the selection of beans and drink syrups for purchase. Got the chicken salad sandwich and the flavors were very well balanced, not too sweet like some chicken salads in town. The pasta salad was also very good, again very well balanced, didn't go overboard with the vinegar. Highly recommend, definitely coming back soon!Parking: Lots of parking around the building, all of them close by. “Food: well the coffee was delicious! I had a coupon so I got a free latte and I chose the hazelnut bliss with oat milk. Delicious. Only complaint is the price. I definitely can’t see myself coming back regularly and spending $5.50 for a small.The actual food on the other hand, wasn’t too great. Everything bagel was homemade (so plus for that) but was incredibly salty and pretty dense. The blueberry muffin was also pretty mediocre. That being said… this is a coffee shop, not a food cafe so it’s less important to me that these aren’t so great.Service: people were so friendly, I just wish they took order at the speaker so you don’t order at the window and sit while they make everything. It makes the drive thru take much longer.“

“I’m still in awe of what an amazing experience my first visit was! I’ve been exploring a new coffee shop in Chattanooga every week and at my 16th stop, I’ve found a favorite!!A parking lot makes all the difference on a day I don’t want to worry about parking tickets. As soon as I walked in, I was hit with a serene and peaceful feeling. Upon walking to the counter, I was warmly greeted and when I asked what was a common favorite drink I was not only shown what was popular, but what each of the baristas favorites AND told the awesome story behind their tea suppliers. Patty and Ace were both so attentive and in no way made me feel like a new costumer. I walked around and took pictures of the space as I waited on my drink and loved it when Ace made another suggestion for my tea then carefully added sweetner to my tea and walked my cookie over to my table.I sat down in silence, not even daring to open my work laptop afraid of interrupting the absolute bliss of a peaceful morning. I did end up on my phone raving to a friend about my official favorite coffee shop. This was before talking to Patty some more and learning the space was part of the Mission church and their focus is community. Encouraging people to engage off their phones and slow down.Needless to say, I’m excited to make this spot a common go-to. I pray everyone who stops by experiences the same wholesome, refreshing, and calming effect I had.“
“Absolutely great place to get coffee! This shop is located inside of a hotel but still is great small coffee shop to go to. The barista there was testing different ways of making coffee and giving it the tests to customers to try. Also asked me a few more questions than usual to try and find a latte that would suit me. The atmosphere isn’t the best compared to others but the location and coffee are incomparable to a lot of cafes I have been to.“
“We have been looking for a good coffee place in the Chattanooga area, and even though it was over an hour+ drive, it was definitely worth it. My boyfriend got a Latte and he absolutely loved it. He said the coffee was very flavorful, and the milk was frothed perfectly. They also served the coffee in the most gorgeous little blue cups. The staff was very friendly and sweet. The whole vibe of this coffee shop was just so relaxing. There’s tables and couches for you to sit on, wether you’re enjoying a coffee date, or just going there to study or do some work on your laptop. “I come here often to work or on a coffee dates with my husband. The turtle mocha is one of my favorite coffees in the city. Breakfast burrito is simple and delicious. Great location with plenty of seating and a good view upstairs. “Being walking distance from my office I meet clients here whenever I’m needing to meet a new client outside of the office. Staff is friendly. Atmosphere is calming. Food is great. Drinks are great. I always get the horchata steamer, best drink ever. Definitely recommend it. Seating can be difficult at times if they are busy. If your alone, othen times you can snag a seat an occupied table without issue.“

“Went early on a Saturday just after 8pm opening, not a smoker and hoped to beat the fog bank that can develop with multiple smokers, cover was around $10 and one drink purchase, I don't do alcohol and opted for a coke zero, it was flat and owner/manager heard and replaced with no problems, the bar tender/cashier Dahlia was a cute petite lady and does dance as well and I got what was a nice private room dance but despite enjoying myself I guess she didn't because as soon as the song ended she had her crocs on and was out the room, I was going to get a few more songs but didn't get a chance to ask, had a beautiful lady Trixie talk and enjoy some small talk with her got several dances from her and she was wonderful, had a dance from a couple other women and enjoyed them as well. As the name indicates it is a bikini bar so all dancers were covered with bikinis, no nudity but I still had a nice time. There were about 8 to 12 different dancers and a wide assortment from petite little treats, bbw, small breasts and large, 5' to close to 6' tall. Will be back.“

“The hotel is unique! Check-in is at the bar! Stayed here with girlfriends and enjoyed the delightful lobby with multiple seating areas designed in boho fashion. We were given a $10 token to be used for a specialty drink at the bar or their coffee shop (which wasn't open until the next morning). The "bartender/check-in gal" was most helpful and very friendly. Our room (for 3) was adequate although not very functional. Two queen beds sit back to back which looks "fun" but in reality was not very conducive for us. The decor is cool, pegs line one wall to hang clothes, bags, etc. since there is no closet or dresser. The room appears smaller than most with a narrow layout. There is no refrigerator in the room. Ice may be obtained at the bar as there are no ice machines available. An "ironing" room is located on each floor. I would find this extremely inconvenient if I had been a business traveler! The bathroom was lovely and very clean and modern. I particularly liked the walk-in shower. The hotel has one cart for customers to use to help with luggage. My one complaint is the lack of parking. We returned to the hotel at 9:00 pm and had trouble finding a space. We ended up parking in their auxiliary lot which was further from the hotel and very inconvenient. The hotel is close enough to walk to many restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Overall the stay was good, fun decor and pleasant staff!“
“Great little coffee spot on Signal Mountain!I came here on a Friday morning/early afternoon and it was fairly busy. I didn't have to wait long for my coffee and blueberry muffin though - I ordered one of their seasonal lattes (very good!) and I was tempted to get a breakfast sandwich, but I opted for a muffin, which was also good.There's a lot of seating inside + outlets for if you're wanting to post up with your laptop, which I did for an hour or so. Then, you're right down the road from Signal Point where you can spend the day hiking!“
