“The absolute best Southern Food in the area. Hands downs, some of the cheapest, most delicious, and fresh food in Chattanooga. I had the chicken livers with mashed potatoes and turnip greens. Everything, and I mean everything, was the best version of those things I've ever had from a restaurant. The chicken lovers were especially good. Those were the best chicken livers I've ever had, just period. You would be doing your mind, body, and soul a favor by checking this place out and don't forget dessert because their strawberry shortcake they have on Wednesdays is to die for.“
“Home Folks is the best place in Soddy Daisy. All you can eat, and very well priced. The food is delicious, the servers are fantastic and the owner Rick will come around in his overalls and check with you to see how everything was and shoot the bull with you. I go at least once a week with my neighbor Paul, who is their unofficial official Ambassador. I always leave stuffed and satisfied.Steak night is a favorite, and hush puppies on Friday are a must.Every trip MUST be finished with pecan cobbler.“
“I ate at Bea’s for the first time in 1976 by the recommendation of a local police officer on a dark, rainy night after traveling for about 10 hours on our way to Disney World for the first time. This is still my fondest memory of that trip! Amazing food & awesome service! Love the family style dining! Top notch…highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Very family (kid) oriented! They make you feel like family!“
“Southern Star has a larger restaurant in Chattanooga but the little store front on Signal Mountain packs a big punch. Great hot entrees differ daily and there is always a good choice of salads, sandwiches, and desserts. I only wish this wonderful place had a sit-down space.“
