“This was one of the best Subway locations I've been to! The restaurant was extremely clean, and everything looked fresh and well organized. The workers were friendly, professional, and made my order quickly while providing great customer service. You can tell they take pride in their work.
The manager/boss was also amazing and created a welcoming atmosphere for both the employees and customers. It's clear this store is well run. Overall, I had a great experience, and I'll definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this Subway to anyone looking for great food and excellent service!“

Just ate there and I had the French dip...which Alicia behind the counter suggested I add turkey to and she hooked me up with making an already great sandwich even better. Darryl made it so well with lots of meat, cheese and sauce and he even brought it to me which was so nice! They had the best music playing which added to the already clean and comfy atmosphere. Very nice spot. Great sandwiches, great service, clean and comfortable atmosphere....I will definitely be back! Thanks Alicia and Darryl....I hope to see yall next time!“

“I think I may have had the pleasure of meeting Mindy B herself - and her mama! I felt so welcome here. The kitchen was a little backed up when I placed my order, but I didn’t have to wait in a line, just a tick for my order. Anyone I spoke with in the restaurant was just like talking with family. You can tell these folks work very hard and take pride in this place. I got my food to go (not because of the wait, just because of preference) and when I got back to my hotel, I was shocked at how large the portions were, especially for the price!! I had ordered the vegan wrap with a side salad and I had two meals out of it. That hardly ever happens with vegetarian or vegan food!!! The only thing that kept me coming back was the lack of time in Chattanooga. The food was delicious and fresh! If I ever find myself back in Chattanooga, I WILL be back!!! “This place is one of the go-to places for sandwiches. Me and my coworkers ordered 8 sandwiches and they were all super tasty. I got the turkey sandwich in a wrap. All the ingredients were super fresh. It is a mom-and-pop shop and everyone who works was very nice. I wish they had an online menu, because I got confused with the menu from other locations.“

“My family has been coming here for decades and I went to school and church with several Ankars at OLPH and NDHS. I went to the Brainerd location today (my favorite). Unfortunately today’s experience was not great (but there’s no way I’m giving an “I do not recommend”). We ordered 3 hoagies. The bread usually comes out warm and soft (and we usually buy a bag to take back to Oklahoma with us). Today’s bread was not warm, chewy, and a bit tough. The onion rings were cooked unevenly with one basket being very light in color and the other 2 being much darker. Idk how many Ankars work at this location, but I did not see anyone. I hope the legacy is not coming to a close. I still wanted to get a t-shirt before leaving. The girl at the counter was confused by my request and got someone else who had to get a 3rd person to locate the shirts. The size he brought out was M and I wanted L. Had to wait while he checked and there were no Ls. This took about 7 minutes from start to finish. No apologies or offers to order one. I’ll be back to Ankar’s next time I’m in town. Just not this location. I hope that things improve there. Ankar’s was a gem not too long ago and it would be a shame to lose this Chattanooga landmark.“

“We went to Walmart on Saturday and were hungry when we got there and went to subway. They were busy and there was only one lady working. She was very nice and fast and just overall a delight. Her name was Jackie. I commented on the fact that she was working all alone and she said she had been with the company 6 years. “I used to work at Subway. I am somewhat specific as to how I prefer to have my Subway sandwiches prepared. I was happy that the employees at this Subway were able to follow my requests and make it the same way I would have done myself. This has not always been the case at other locations. They were also fast and friendly. I was somewhat surprised when they asked my partner if he was (eligible for a senior discount) over 62 years old, but we shared a good laugh about it when we arrived back home, so it was certainly not a big deal. The bread was just a little dry, and the tomatoes could have been fresher, but I don't expect anything different from Subway. The food was still good and I enjoyed it very much.“
