“I was absolutely flabbergasted at how delicious the tacos I had here were. I had steak and chorizo tacos and let me tell you they were probably some of the best I’ve had in quite some time. They use red onion which I was a bit skeptic about at first but IT WORKS. The tortilla was fresh, hot, and flavorful. The meat was fresh, flavorful, and juicy. The cilantro was fresh and fragrant. I loved every bite and wished there was more. My ONLY complaint is that I wished the red salsa was a WEE bit more spicy. But that’s just cuz I’m used to spicier foods.“

“This is one of those Taco Bell/KFC hybrid freestanding restaurants. In small towns like Smithville, I usually receive good customer service by friendly employees. By contrast, I recently had a job that required a lot of travel in the US. Almost without exception, in large cities and urban areas around Chicago, New York, most large cities in California, service was horrible! Not just Taco Bell. There were a few rare exceptions, but 90% of the interactions I had with employees of any fast food restaurant was negative. The employees in these areas acted like they were doing me a favor by doing their jobs poorly. Always rude, slow and in some cases, nasty! The Smithville Taco Bell/KFC was a refreshing reminder of what good customer service is. Thank you Smithville Taco Bell employees!“
