“This place has changed ownership a few times over the past few years, sometimes for the good, sometimes the bad. However, wife & I ate there the other night about 25 mins prior to closing and we weren't rushed or felt unwanted by the staff whom I am sure were ready to get home. The food was good, hot, and tasty. Hot fries!! Yeah. Service was quick and friendly and we were treated like the first customer of the day rather than the last one prior to closing which we were. Very appreciated, will eat there again and soon.“

“El Metate has very yummy burritos, the Burrito California is big! Very filling. Their caso is good too. It's not too watery, I see a lot of Mexican restaurants lately watering down their queso. It's very creamy, and their chips taste fresh and their salsa isn't too spicy, it's perfect! Sometimes when I go I get a quesadilla with shredded chicken. The workers are very nice and keep our drinks topped up. Parking can be a hassle, as that little plaza is very busy between El Metate and the businesses around it. A few times we've had to park in the walmart parking lot and walk over to El Metate. Not a big deal, although there was not a single handicap space available due to them all being taken. So be mindful of that if you go during busier times.Parking: Free parking, though during busier times may need to park in the walmart parking lot right next to El Metate.“

“The food here is really grateful Chinese food. They have a great $35 special that you can get eggrolls three entrées are usually get two entrées and a large. The rice is wonderful. It's not sticky. It's not gummy. They're very nice. They do not take credit cards only cash your check, if you call, they'll have it ready when you get there usually it takes him about 15 or 20 minutes to have it ready and it's always hot and our dog loves their wontons out of their wonton soup“
