“Delicious BBQ. Tender, juicy, just the right amount of smoky flavor. Wish we lived in town because we'd be back often! Chef Q mentioned he has some additional sauces (?blackberry and a honey peach) that sounded amazing. No indoor seating, but it was a gorgeous night to eat on the covered deck. Recommend coming early as the seem to sell out of some of the sides.“

We've been ordering dinner from Shufords for years and have never been disappointed in the least! Shufords gets a very well-deserved 5-star rating!!!“

“This was my first time eating here..I got the full slab of ribs..sides were white beans and Texas toast..ribs in my opinion were really really dry like they were smoked a few days ago and reheated, I dunno how they do it, I just know I wasn't impressed at all.. service was good, friendly staff, but due to the rib experience I probably won't be going back.“
“My daughter and I ate here and it was delicious. Emily was an incredibly sweet and attentive server and I highly recommend LH. Please give Chef Edgar a pay raise to ensure his employment...his food is absolutely amazing! Our steaks were cooked to perfection which my daughter was very impressed with as she is a picky eater. She said her steak had a nice char and was deliciously juicy even as a medium-well steak. We will definitely be back!“
“My review, the bbq beef, was probably the best I've ever had. It was tender and not full of fat and gristle like at most bbq joints. The potato salad reminded me of my grandma's. The baked beans were sneaky. On the first bite, I wasn't thrilled, but then the flavor hit me. There were shreds of beef that were like little gifts from God. The Texas toast was the exact exclamation point to a fantastic lunch. The staff is very friendly and the prices are fare and won't break the bank. Now, if they just served tequila, they'd be the perfect bbq joint!“
“We ordered food from Choo Choo BBQ for our neighborhoods 4th of July gathering. There were 80+ people in attendance and we received so many compliments on the food throughout the day. We also appreciated how accommodating the staff was about me continually calling to increase our order and helping us get the right amount of food. Great service!“

The staff is trained well and pleasant.I eat here because I can get a fairly healthy meal with just the potato and pulled pork or chicken.Parking: The lot is shared with a number of other businesses, including a busy Miller's Alehouse. On weekends it can be difficult to find a spot anywhere in this lot. Luckily, it's adjacent to the mall so you can find a spot.“
“I don't know what everybody orders when they come here, but our meal was fantastic. Of course, we started with the yeast rolls. We then ordered 2 felets, medium rare, as they are supposed to be. For the sides, we got the broccoli, loaded baked potato, and green beans. The steaks were perfectly cooked, and the taste was better than expected. The veggies were fantastic. Great flavor. I'll be making my green beans and broccoli this way in the future.Our waitress was great. She was attentive and very helpful. We had our hands full with 2 very young children. Our time was spent keeping them out of trouble and eating, so I didn't get her name. I did tell the manager, though.The ambiance was nice. March madness was on, so that was nice. Everyone on the staff was helping each other. We really enjoyed everything about our meal and experience. Recommend.“

Was wary about stopping in so close to close, staff were thrilled to have me and there was not “great here’s a customer right before we close” attitude some of you may have experienced at other restaurants. Food was great. Staff was friendly. I order the family meal bundle. Pulled pork, slaw, Mac n Cheese, banana pudding, collard greens and green beans. Everything was delicious. Banana pudding deserves 5 stars by itself. Pork was moist and hot. Kids finished an entire large serving by themselves. I got one bite, and that one bit was delicious. Definitely not box Mac n cheese. Slaw was great. Very crispy and not soggy like some I’ve had that was premade and sitting in fridge for days. Collard greens were very unique, they had a sweet, slightly Smokey flavor with a bit of spice. I’ve never had collard greens with this flavor profile and it caught me off guard, yet the flavors work and even the kids enjoy it. Green beans were solid as ever. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for some quality BBQ in the Soddy area.“
