“I enjoy a good subway sandwich every now and then and highly recommend this location. It was very clean. The workers, although some are quite young, are very attentive and listen very well. I specifically enjoyed two workers named Jordan and Isaiah. Both very friendly and helpful with my order.“
“Back in Abilene again! Like all entitled 30-year-olds I am bored and for some unknown reason I want to be a Yelp reviewer? Maybe it was because of my experience at this Subway.... got two sandwiches meatball marinara and a Philly with one of those buy one get one free type coupons you get in the mail randomly. The sandwiches were actually really good I've had Subway before but my sandwich was just really really good and I thought I should share with everybody. This is my first Yelp review ever so I'm probably being weighed and found wanting? My wife digs it so I guess I must be doing something right but then again she tells me only her opinion matters? Lol“
“I am a frequent visitor to the particular location. For the most part, it’s a good spot, only lack of employees slowing down production and creating long wait times and long lines during lunch.This particular lunch visit was disappointing. The usual long lines were an issue as I anticipated it, I was happy to see a full line of employees making sandwiches this time. The flow was definitely faster and I thought that was great while in the line until I reached the veggie/completion stage. They had a young inexperienced employee building and finishing the orders.I ordered a simple Roasted Chicken Wrap and added some veggies. I am never one to complain and I didn’t this time however you can see from my pictures, more training was needed. There were something many of each vegetable that the wrap could not close. It couldn’t be folded or wrapped so it was just rolled up in the paper and sent to me. It had the vegetables on the outside of the wrap as well that made it very soggy and just not good. The wrap would have filled two different salad bowls. I had to get a fork and sift through all of it to find any chicken. It was so off putting that I ate about a third of it and tossed the soggy rest of it.In their defense , this is not a regular thing, most of the time it’s the extreme opposite which is not enough vegetables. Also, the cashier and I both watched in awe of their person struggling to quickly fit all this in the wrap while moving on the the next customer in the long line, and neither of us said “please take out about half of that, and it will work better” so I take some blame too.“
“We came in to the 2001 S 1st location after the lunch rush and there was still a decent line with only one employee on shift. Violet worked each order in the long line diligently and professionally, all while keeping a smile on her face and in good spirits despite the obvious air of stress. We were overtly grateful and thanked her many times in light of the stress she was likely under, but never seemed to show it. Many places are understaffed and some Subway locations are not staffed at all. As business owners, we understand the extra strain that puts on the remaining employees. She continued to work the line after us while we dined with courteous service despite less-than-patient customers. We informed her that we would be leaving a positive review and we left a tip. As consumers, let us please be patient with those carrying the extra weight. 5 Stars and a job well done, Violet!“

“Mr Jonathan Berry posted: The store is a scam artist if you order online they require a picture of your driver's license to pick up your order and if you don’t let them write down your information they cancel your order.No sir the store isn't a scam and the only time they ask for an id is if you order online- through the app for pickup and ur order is over $20. If you have an online order over $20 just remember you have to show a picture id to pick it up if you dont have one yes ur order will be cancelled because there isnt proof that it was really ur card and could be unauthorized transactions better safe than sorry. Whats so bad showing ur id“
“I went into this subway there was 2 people ahead of me. The lady behind the counter assumed we were all together..(due to color of our skin) was told we weren't. When it came time to dress my sub the lady literally put the condiment requested by the lady before me on my wrap then when told she was wrong. She scraped off the stuff on my wrap and put the meat I wanted on there. Now here's the problem. She put bacon on the wrap and the old lettuce from the previous wrap . I was out done. I always go to this subway but not anymore...the attitude of the lady behind the counter did it all for me. The price of everything has gone up and custom service has hit rock bottom.“
“This is BY FAR the cleanest Subway I have ever visited. It doesn't look like it would be as clean and new from the outside, but that's deceiving. Ashley was professional, cute and sweet taking our orders. She was the standard by how all other subway staff members should deliver service and sandwiches. I was very pleasantly surprised and my daughter and I will be back.“
“Today I walked in and saw 3 people ahead of me. I assumed that the worker (Spencer) was going to be slow since he looks very young and probably hates his job. I was hungry and impatient. He was actually pretty quick. I didn't see anyone else there so good for him. I asked for a subway melt with all veggies and usually get a huge sandwich with all my toppings spilling out but he made my sandwich very neatly almost like he had an OCD problem. Looked great! Next time be a bit more cheerful. I said a few words to him but he did not hear me. Must have been that focused attitude. ?“
“It was a good night at Subway. As per suggestion I got the Ultimate BMT and it was awesome made just the way it listed on the menu. The girls of course dry ham or turkey and cheese lol at least they eat the bread here unlike that other place!“
“Visited on Jan 20, 2022 at 11:47 am. I believe it was the manager. She was working alone but she provided excellent customer service. She made us the best 12 inch turkey subs we have ever had. She put more than enough meat, and even gave us 3 cookies each. The store was very clean. Great experience. Location inside of Walmart.“
