“I come here after work once or twice a week. I work nights so it's one of few choices I have. Its great everytime. Everything I've had on the menu so far has been amazing. The lady that's hosts/works the register is sweet and takes good care of customers. If I were a richer man I'd eat here every morning after work. The staff deserves a raise!“

I haven't been to a Home Plate Diner in probably 15+ years since the last one closed in Lubbock and that one had really gone downhill towards the end.This one is exactly like I remember the ones in Lubbock. The shrimp basket is still amazing and the curly fries and mac and cheese really sealed the deal.I'd driven by this one many times and was hesitance to go on because there were never any cars in the lot. So glad I did though. Great food and the young ladies at the counter are really sweet.Will definitively be back! Maybe a burger next time.“
“While in Amarillo on our trip, we stopped at Denny's for breakfast.As soon as we walked in our waitress Diane M was waiting for us. Immediately sat us. We had hot coffee almost before our rears got comfortable. We ordered our food, it was out very quickly. Hot, fresh, delicious. I would have taken pictures but by the time I thought about it all that was left was this delicious English muffin. Thanks Diane for you service.Don't let the construction next door fool you. We sat in a booth next to it and didn't really hear anything.“
