“Snowy winter day so we decided to go play pool while in Amarillo. It cost $9 per person and unlimited plays. The sticks were straight and plenty of elbow room. The waitress told us Blue Moon and Coors were imports which we knew better. Pricing on drinks (cans and bottles) were a bit steep from what we're used to, but the kitchen menu was fair in pricing. The place wasn't busy and there were 25 tables to choose from. We had a lot of fun playing pool and would recommend this facility.“
“A family friend recommended Blue Sky burgers. This place is terrific.! The only reason I gave four stars, because my jalapenos and grilled onions were not on my burger. The food was still mouth wateringly delicious. I would definitely pass this recommendation on to everyone, give this place a try at least once or twice, or however many times you want, you'll still love it. It's located in Amarillo Tx. “Found this by chance on Google as we were driving through Amarillo. SO GLAD we stopped here for lunch! Delicious, HUGE burgers. Generous premium hamburger loaded with bacon, cheese, and grilled onions. Bun was big, soft and delicious.Held the hamburger together well. Outstanding bite!! Cheese fries are hand cut and came with a generous amount of real cheese melted and bubbling on top....almost looked like a pizza at first. Cafe is very small, yet very charming with lots of old-time memorabilia. If it's busy, just know it is worth the wait. Servers were very busy, but amidst it all were also very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Treated guests like old friends.We are already planning our next visit!Kid-friendliness: Lots of customers had young kids with them. Tots seemed to really enjoy their meals. Not alot of space if you have a kid that needs to move, but if your child is able to stay at the table then this would be a great place for them.“

The Knob Creek Old-Fashioned was exactly what the doctor ordered. The 9 ounce fillet, which I had ordered medium well, came out medium or, more likely, medium rare. But after Brandi brought it back — along with some extra mashed potatoes by way of compensation for the error — it was delicious. Good salad, hot bread with honey butter. No complaints.“

“I'm severely allergic to wheat & Celiac, so my review will focus on my GF experience today.Upon arrival, I requested a gluten free menu & was told by the hostess that they don't have one. Then the lady who seated us said that the server would be able to give me some recommendations. Our waitress said there were no options, so I asked for the manager (Keith). He was very nice & helpful. He told the waitress how to write it on the ticket & personally went to the back to be sure the cooks understood the need for safety.Basically the options are: salad w/o potato straws or a grilled protein (steak, chicken, or salmon) seasoned with only salt & pepper with broccoli & and side salad w/o the potato straws.My food was good & fresh. My wife and I were greeted by our waitress Lilian and she seemed to be in high spirits. I ordered the 16 oz bone in ribeye and she had the half rack of ribs... Got attitude from the hosts and a bartender looked right at me and walked off while I was quietly waiting in the designated spot to order a beer while waiting for a table. Servers have also allowed us to sample beer before ordering. Desserts have been good. We got an overdone butter cake, but were not charged for it in the end. Also stayed 4+ hours on most recent visit because the atmosphere was so good. Some expensive dishes, but also some very reasonable options. Highly recommend getting a reservation. Love this place!“

We were there for an early dinner on Saturday and they put us in a plain room full of tables and a large bar with several loud people drinking at the bar. We will be back for a lunch sometime but not for a quiet fine dining experience. You need to break up the rooms a bit to provide a more romantic atmosphere. You have a lot of vertical space that could be used to break things up.“

Not that busy at 6am on NYE, and great service, care. The staff were engaged with the customers, sharing stories and jokes. The music was great, and the food was perfect. Again, our waitress was right on time with coffee, refills, and the order. When some bacon slipped off a plate, it was quickly replaced. Great visit, and I'll definitely be back sooner than the last time.“

“Handlebar had good reviews online so we were excited about trying it out. It's a cool little dive bar for bikers that is supposed to have great food. But I found the cheeseburger dry and without flavor. Which was disappointing because I really wanted to like this place. The service was nice and it's in an old gas station which is kind of cool but I was disappointed by the quality of the cheeseburger. They weren't very busy, and there were several other places on that Route 66 Corridor in Amarillo that had lots more traffic and one even had live music while we were driving past. Next time we'll try one of the other locations.“
