“I love the food here most of the time. Matter of fact I would eat here every time I go fishing if it was not for the weekend brunch menu. The only thing keeping this place from 5 stars is how they handle their brunch. Is their brunch menu on the weekend is over priced and the food is average at best. I will spend just as much at breakfast as I do on lunch or dinner but unlike there other meals the food for brunch is bland and the portions small. During their brunch times they do not offer there normal menu. Because of this I will only eat at this location when they are offering their normal items. Now, their normal menu is out of this world. I have tried almost everything, and it is all good. My favorites are the Seared Tuna, Island Boy Burger (sounds weird but try it, it will not disappoint), and the Shrimp Etouffee. Also, you have to try the Anchor Balls. They also have a nice selection of beer. I just wish they would have a standard Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner hours and menus.“

“This place is a great place to escape. It’s relaxing, the staff is friendly, the bbq always taste on point, the buckets of beer are reasonably priced. If you can catch them on a Friday or Saturday your in for a treat of some live local music. Great place for families or friends to gather for lunch and a drink. Love that it’s located right on the La Quinta ship channel, you get to see some huge ships go by and it’s beautiful. Now let’s get to that sunset, breath taking. Now better place in town to sit and watch the sunset.Parking: Easy pull right up and parkKid-friendliness: They do host a movie night sometimes during the summer, very family oriented place.“
“We are first time customers and it won't be our last. We ate here yesterday for the first time even though we have driven past it before many times. We live in Holiday Beach and own an RV park across from the Valero gas station so, we had some work done on our truck in-town. We finally made the leap and we weren't disappointed we shared a plate and had brisket and pork ribs. We had two sides the yummy corn and broccoli salad. Loved the BBQ sauce they make it was a little zip, but great flavor. We went out full and had left over brisket to take home. The staff behind the counter were friendly and when we left the gentleman said, "Thanks for coming and we will be seeing you tomorrow!" “Food was excellent! Had the MacDaddy burger and fries and was great! Server was not very attentive. It was nice that she brought water for my dog. But after ordering she disappeared for a long time, never checked on us. Then once we paid the check we asked for tongo containers and I had to track her down to get them about 10 mins later.“
“Great food and service. Brisket was very flavorful and juicy. Ribs were tender and perfectly seasoned. The owners are friendly and didn't mind answering questions about the food and how it's prepared. Very clean cooking area. I definitely got some extra to take home.“
