“Appetizers (river prawns and bang bang shrimp) were both very tasty. Seafood salad was off-tasting. Three different ramen bowls at our table, all of us were disappointed in the ramen broth - very bland. Maybe sushi is good, but won't be going back anytime soon for ramen.“
“After two years of being a regular customer, I am finally writing a review on my favorite restaurant. This place has the best prices, best atmosphere, best service, and BEST food. As a college student, I am constantly hungry and I spend way too much money on food but I never feel guilty eating here as there are always so many budget friendly options on the menu. It is a family owned restaurant, that never fails to deliver on the quality of their food and service. They have a dish for everyone so if you don't like sushi, don't worry; their ramen and fried rice options are delicious too. If you haven't eaten here yet, you're missing out! Here are some of my recommendations for things to try:My favorite appetizers: miso soup, monkey brains, takoyakiFavorite sushi rolls: winter roll (warm, comforting), dragon eel roll (savory), caterpillar roll (warm, comforting), crazy crunch roll (discount roll, super tasty for salmon lovers), cowboy roll (savory, warm)Bang for your buck meals: any of the bentos, birria ramen, shoyu pork ramen, combination fried rice“
“Greeted with a gorgeous smile, had the delicious fried dumplings appetizer! I had to get my food packed to go due to a change in flight, nevertheless it tasted delicious when I had an opportunity to eat at the airport. Will certainly recommended & come back ! Thank you !“
“I've been to a pretty wide swath of ramen places in Japan, San Francisco, New York City, etc. Ninja Ramen in Arlington is a classic ramen joint with good options, solid quality, and very good value. It doesn't need to be niche or flashy to be great, and they don't sell themselves as that; they have great hours (new late-night hours too!), good food, nice atmosphere, and something for everyone. In addition, they have other izakaya favorites for appetizers, as well as good and reasonably-priced alcohol options (Sapporo draft!).I would definitely go here with friends to enjoy a solid meal and a good place to sit and hang out. IMO the flashy/trendy places are a dime a dozen, and it is so hard to find a reliable ramen joint like this these days anywhere. We will absolutely return, it's in a great location with decent enough parking and close to friends I like to visit.“
“Best sushi spot i have had. The food is phenomenal and the service is awesome. Service is personal and great. The cowboy roll has become my favorite. Tried another sushi place recently that was rated well out of convenience of a drive and it reminded me of how good bamboo house is. Andre is the best, Love this place.“
“ATMOSPHERE: when you show up to this restaurant the outside of the restaurant is simple and not what you would expect. When you walk inside it as though you walked into a Japanese restaurant in the middle of a Japanese city. Very traditional and you have two seating options: 1. The bar where you can watch the cooks work the grill 2. The Floor. You walk up take your shoes off and they seat you at the table where you sit on the floor. It’s actually surprisingly comfy.FOOD: this place is a five star rating for food all around. If you’re not very adventurous and only want an American take on the food they do have options on the menu that will accommodate you. If you’re looking for more traditional Japanese options there are so many great options and all are amazing. They even have some more creative options that are still a nod to traditional Japanese but with a twist. I would definitely recommend asking the server for their recommendations if it’s your first time and just dive in.SERVICE: they are quick and attentive yet still manage to be kind and patient. They even remembered my wife and I after months later from our first visit.Over all I wouldn’t have anything negative to say about this place. They only do reservations for 3+ people so if you’re a couple get there early and wait in line. TOTALLY worth it.“
“Went for lunch on this gloomy Friday and the restaurant only had two table when we came in. Both my boyfriend's Ramen and mine came out hot and delicious. The chasu was very soft and easily pulled apart with chopsticks. I like the use of chili paste instead of chili oil for spice.“
“Mom n pop with high end mix.Cozy size restaurant great for dining solo or with friends, with very nice decor. Their non-sushi food, like their bento box, are on the lighter side of taste but served with very good portions. Their sushi is superb! I had their lobster tower for the first time and it was instant addiction. I failed to take its picture but that will just give me an excuse to go back. I highly recommend!“
“The spicy tonkotsu ramen was amazing. The chashu was perfectly cooked and tasty. I'm not a big fan of eggs or bean sprouts, but theirs tasted so good. The takoyaki was delicious soft flavorful and didn't need the eel sauce and fish flakes you get at other restaurants. I didn't leave anything behind it was also so good. The owners are very nice and attentive people. The restaurant is simple but the food is outstanding. The presentation of the food it absolutely beautiful. I'd love to come back and try their shoyu ramen.“
“This is easily my favorite ramen spot in Arlington! The menu has consistent, great flavors and the staff are incredibly kind. I HIGHLY recommend! If you can’t tell by the multiple pictures, my partner and I frequent this shop because of how great it is. This restaurant is off of Abram St near UTA, so be aware of traffic/ tight parking at times.Parking: There are multiple parking options: you can reverse park along Abram, Center, or Mesquite st, or there is a free parking garage with entrances on both Center and Mesquite.“
