Wake up and smell the coffee! Why are y'all sleeping on this cozy cafe/bar when they have a whole separate vegan menu? The Impossible sausage biscuit here is just the tip of the iceberg, and it's only getting better. Their breakfast tacos get a lot of buzz, but I'm often swayed by the Thai tofu bowl for lunch. Fantastic first trip to Barley Bean! Had seen it pop up numerous times when searching for a coffee shop, but I kept writing it off as it seemed like it was missing the small local shop charm. However, everyone working there was super helpful, welcoming, and kind to us. My partner doesn't drink coffee but loves matcha and they went out of their way to help figure which seasonal drink would pair best with a matcha. I come here all the time, for the past 2 years. They have changed their menu a bit over time but without fail, whatever I order is the BEST thing I’ve ever had. Whether it’s food or coffee, it’s so amazing. I appreciate how much thought and care goes into their menu for vegan/vegetarians and everyone else.
