We love speakeasies and this one didn't disappoint! You enter through a secret passage and feel transported back in time. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. We had great bartenders and they had a great variety of drinks. We were only staying for a short visit but Austin has a ton of speakeasies so make that a priority if you enjoy that! On to the next place!
Music was excellent, loved the show. Bar service was frazzled. Would definitely go back.Update: Two years later I am in Austin again and I went back. Another excellent show. Less crowded and bar service was top notch. 5th star earned.What a great bar.

It's a pretty cool bar. Bar stools are extremely uncomfortable (we both had bruises on back of our legs the next day), table next to us was obnoxiously loud to the point that we eventually left, which I get with it being a bar, but it was to the point of everyone in the bar staring at this one table because they were so crazy loud. typically I have seen the bartender politely ask them to be a little quieter in a ritzy bar like this, off the drag.
