I really want to like forthright, but I’ve been there on 3 occasions and the food is just average. First time I had to have my fried chicken sent back because it was undercooked, second and third times my food came out at room temperature. I think it’s popular because of the location downtown and not because the food is good
We had a great experience here at Forthright Cafe! From the get go we were well taken care of. We sat outside and enjoyed the cool breeze and it wasn't too loud from the traffic on the street either. We both couldn't pass up the chicken & waffles and so glad we didn't. It was yummy but could've been better. The chicken was a little burnt and didn't have that great of flavor/seasoning and the waffle was thinner than expected but overall it was good! The fresh lemonade was delicious...read full review
