The restaurant includes an extensive menu of flavors that are not common in the northern part of Mexico, the main seasoning being Achiote. Delicious food, great atmosphere. Sat outside. Dined with our kids, everyone was happy with their meal. We got a whole chicken #1, rice, beans, tortillas, and the grilled beets. Yum. Kids had El Niño taco and pío pío taco, plus guacamole, chips and salsa. Happy tummies all around. I wish we had this place in San Diego!Kid-friendliness: Perfect for kids. Great location and ambience. Brisket hash (brunch), queso and breakfast/mezcal margaritas are well done. We finished with some house made rocky road ice cream which was amazing. They do a phenomenal job of blending flavors and really delivering a well rounded experience.
