I’m not in the area but whenever I visit Austin, I go to Fukumoto with no exception.I love everything there but the beets miso soup which was a seasonal in March was amazingly good! I love their Uni Pasta as well. It’s the best thing to wrap up dinner?Their desserts are unique and good too. I recommend keeping some space for the dessert too.
Decided to try this place because I wanted to find something with more traditional Japanese food. While I also enjoy the American version of sushi , I miss the flavors that I had while living in Japan many years ago. This place was a very solid find. Amazing place. I’m not much for sushi, so I would love to see some other options on the menu.
