“Absolutely an amazing place! Food and drink are incredible. Duck Fat Fries and Bone Marrow are my favorites for starters. We have been coming here for years. Please support this business during the COVID pandemic. It would be terrible to see this place not make it.

Updating this review in November 2024. The place is still amazing! But had to remove a star for the parking situation. They use a service that requires you to scan a QR code and either pay for parking or get 3 hours free. It is NOT evident that you need to do this and none of the staff mentioned it. A couple weeks later, I got a fine letter. I ended up having to pay "Parking Revenue Recovery Services" a total of a $99 fine. I wish someone at the Salty Sow informed me of this. I would have rather spent that money at the restaurant the next time I visited. Y'all should change this process with your parking vendor.“

“This is one of the best cocktail bars in Austin. I wish I could go here every night. It’s a cozy yet classy atmosphere, and there’s always a fun movie playing behind the bar.

The bar program has been nationally recognized, and the drinks are so tasty, complex, and unique. I try to grab a different cocktail every visit because they work so hard to craft recipes for every new menu, and I have never had a bad drink there.

Everyone is always so friendly, too. I love the staff here. They are always willing to answer questions or start up a conversation. Visit the bar. I promise, you won’t regret it.“

“I was informed that it’s a must go place for burgers when in Austin, so I went and I was impressed. The burgers/sandwiches were really good. I liked the size of shareable fries bowl, they were really good. The Nutella pretzel shake is highly recommended.“
