Wings on Monday are phenomenally, as is the Queso. Good, strong drinks for a great price. They have pool and a TouchTunes where you can pick your own music. This has become one of our new go tos. “The Austin Eagle might be the best bar in town, but probably not for the reasons you'd think. The location can be a bit of a trip (unless you live in north east Austin, as I do), the food isn't going to score a James Beard award, the bathroom smells (as noted in other reviews) can be off-putting, and the staff can frankly be inconsistent. That said - the space The Eagle has created for queers and kinksters is second to none...in Austin. If you're looking for the NY Eagle - go to New York, and if you're looking for a dark room - check out Berlin. Adjust your expectations to something like an "Eagle Lite," bring a good attitude, and commend this place for the incredible community they're promoting through great programming, community fundraisers, and a safe space.“
