“This food fed. My. Soul. I got the double chicken plate with stew and jerk chicken, and both were fall-off-the-bone, perfectly seasoned, with the most balanced, delicious sauces. The callaloo rice and steamed cabbage were well seasoned and garnished. The portions were amazing, you will have leftovers, which is perfect because you won’t want this meal to end! I will be returning and telling everyone to go here!I took off a star because I never received the side of plantains that came with the order and it was delivered, so I couldn’t rectify the issue, so I do recommend going in-person to mitigate this, but everything was so delicious that I still whole-heartedly recommend it.“
“I am just blown away. It has been hard to find really good Jamaican cuisine here in Austin but this by far was one of the best experiences I ever had. Not only was the food delicious and filling, you can tell that it was made with love. The kind lady was so nice and generous, she reminded me of the love and extra care my mema would give to us 14 grandchildren that piled up in her home every summer...it felt like home and I will definitely be returning ? The bone-in jerk chicken with the rice & beans was packed with flavor and made with love. The plantains are the best i've ever tried, and the beef patty was amazing also.
