“I'm Haitian/Cuban Brooklynite and I've been looking for a place in Austin that will help with my Caribbean cravings for aLOOOOOOOOONG 6 years and WOW this place was definitely worth that wait. The flavors are layered, the meat is juicy and succulent the sauce is spectacular. The plantains and fries are fresh and crispy. You can tell that they care about the quality of their food. Now let's talk about presentation, just because they are food truck doesn't mean that they skimp on the visuals. I'm highly impressed and will definitely be back. So so so happy I found this gem ?“
“Lovely food and lovely service. We got a couple of apps, a few sides, and two mains for two people. It was a lot but a great way to sample a little of everything on the menu. We ordered everything upfront and they did a great job with the pacing of the food. The roti, ceviche, and wagyu beef were definitely the highlights. The folks working there were all extremely attentive and kind. The only downside was the atmosphere - super cute but very loud. I’m hard of hearing and I had a bit of a difficult time. It wasn’t as bad as some places in Austin though!! I would 100% go back and just not talk LOL. Very yummy.“

“I’m about as Caucasian as it gets but I’ll be god damned if I’m not a jerk chicken connoisseur. I got the half pound of jerk chicken last night and it was the best jerk chicken I’ve ever had personally. Perfect spice, perfectly cooked and tender chicken fall off the bone jerk. Get the carrot mango drink as well. It’s fantastic. Thank you“
“I was craving a Cuban sandwich, googled where I could get one, and turns out this place is not far from me. I placed an online order and did take out. The service was friendly when I went inside to pick up. The sandwich was delicious, 5 stars, would go here again to try their other dishes.“
“When I tell you their food is amazing I mean it!! My favorite thing to eat here is the ribs they are so good! never have I had ribs that I liked more than these!! And my kids absolutely loved their Mac and cheese , they sure do finsh every bite of food for some picky eaters lol all in all I totally recommend you trying this place! You won't regret it“
“I enjoyed this food more than my trip to Canje. Oxtails were tender, coated with sauce and incredibly flavorful. Beef patty, although more closely resembling a large empanada, was stuffed with beef and had a pastry that was also super flavorful and flaky. Peas and rice under the oxtails slapped. Plantains were the perfect sweet bite in between to break up all the rich flavors. 10/10 recommend.“
“Food was incredible, like really good nachos and quesadillas and tacos. Delicious. Fast service. Lovely people. Turfing the playscape with padded turf would make it 10x safer and better. Right now, it is just non-level dirt. My non-walking child couldn't be let down to play/explore. The main dining area and bar/tv's seemed to be closed. Maybe still under renovation? Lots of mosquitos. Not sure if there is standing water that needs to be addressed. Despite all this, will be back for the food!“
“Moved to Austin recently and was looking for an authentic Jamaican spot. After finding this place, I don't think I will have to look any further! The bone-in jerk chicken with the rice & beans was packed with flavor and made with love. The plantains are the best i've ever tried, and the beef patty was amazing also. This place will leave you feeling satisfied and happy!“
