My partner and I LOVE this place! Even though we moved out of the neighborhood, we still come back to Los Comales because the food is amazing and the atmosphere is second to none. There’s one waitress whom I have accidentally referred to as my mom because I love her and she is so sweet and kind!! The food here is AMAZING!
Service was awesome, 5 stars, from getting seated to getting our food served quickly to getting water refills and all. However, the food generally lacked seasoning and was light on the meat. The salsa was spicy and tasty but the queso was oddly sweet. There’s good parking.I don’t think I’ll be back given the Tex-Mex options we have all around Austin.

2023-This place has not changed in 20yrs! Not even our favorite waitress!!2018-Our waitress was very beautiful! I asked him to please hide the cake for my dad and when we asked for the cake, he brought it with the candles lit and singing the happy birthday song. It took us all by surprise... Best birthday surprise!!! She's been there for years, sorry I don't know her name... We've been going since we were kids.. Delicious food!! Huge dishes!
