This place has gone downhill in the last year. It seems like they maybe are under new management? This may be a franchise thing, but they got rid of their best kolache, the Big Earl Campbell with Jalapeño and cheese. Also, I had a filled bar several months back and it almost had no filling. I thought this was maybe a fluke. I had another today and it was the same. Hope they fix the quality issues.
Shipley's Donuts is a donut lover's paradise! The donuts are so fresh and delicious, and they have a wide variety of flavors to choose from. I got a 2 dozen variety pack and I loved every single one. The glazed donuts were my favorite, but the chocolate iced and sprinkles donuts were also amazing. The staff was also very friendly and efficient. Good priced donuts and kolaches and open on Sunday's too. Got the cream filled donut and bacon/egg/cheese/potato kolache. Both were very good in size and flavor and were given to me warm. Even though I came in early afternoon, they still tasted fresh. They also have drive through service which is great on cold days or hot Texas summers.
