“Best tacos and friendliest folks out southwest. I look forward to each visit, and my dogs are still talking about the bacon they were given, they will take that over a pup cup any day! No specific recommendations as every taco I have had there was excellent.“

“I dont know what this location is doing for their employees, but they are the friendliest workers I have talked to at a drive through. Doesn't matter the time of day, they are always chipper and eager to take your order. Its been this way for years.“

“I stopped by the Taco Bell on Brodie in Austin with my two-year-old son, and I was pretty disappointed to find out that the chicken item we wanted and the new Chicken Bacon Ranch tacos I had been excited to try were already off the menu. I still think Taco Bell changes menu items way too often, and it can make ordering feel frustrating and unpredictable.

That said, the staff here handled it really well. Jeffrey in particular was extremely kind, helpful, and understanding about the whole situation. He genuinely seemed to empathize with my disappointment and took the time to recommend some other items to try. He did not have to go out of his way like that, but he did, and I really appreciated“

“There were two black women working at this location around 8:45ish and I just wanna S/O to them (I didnt get there names) cause I had ordered a bunch of stuff and got extra little things here and there, and they were on top of things! They were also extremely pleasant and kind. Made sure I had everything i ordered. Management yall need to give them a raise. I know yall read these reviews.“

“Taco Bell is what Taco Bell is- take it or leave it lol I can honestly say I’ve never actually sat in a Taco Bell and just watched while I ate. The crew was working seamlessly as they were swamped with the late dinner rush and the piling of orders plus drive thru as well. “This taco bell used to be horrific (like most)- but the last year or so the entire staff was turned over and now its phenomenal. Easily best taco bell in austin (only one that is actually good). The new staff are awesome. Kind and competent, and the redhead at the windows super cute. I wouldnt bother going to any other location, the staff at this one actually makes the food amazing. “It’s a real love hate relationship with this Taco Bell. I’d say they bat like 0.700. They’re like a decent ex, always there for ya at 2am, sometimes comes back to bite ya the next day, sometimes leaves you wanting more. I did get pretty gnarly food poisoning from this location once but it cleared me out so well that my system did a full reboot & I broke a 10+ year caffeine addiction. Make of that what you will. I still come back to see the ole girl once every month or so. Guilty pleasure, what can I say. Y’all stay golden Riverside taco bell“

“i thought it was cool that they had a walk up window for late night BUT im here to commend and thank Johnathan(Jonathan?) for being real respectful and accommodating for my order. they were out of nacho fries and he seemed more disappointed than i was. he immediately asked what else i wanted as a substitute and he was proactive. i will definitely come back here when my Taco Bell fix needs to be done.“

“I order ahead and the food is always good and ready when I get there. Only problem is it seems the staff is all grinding it out on food prep and it's hard to get service in the dining room. That might explain why the place is empty during dinner time on a weekday. Idk if eat-in fast foods are on the way out, but someones still gotta pay attention to the people picking up food and delivery drivers“

Update: always forgetting things and messing up the order, plus they ask for food back after they mess up and throw it right in the trash. So much for caring about food waste. That is the worst policy any food establishment could have.

Why do I still come by here? Probably cuz its the closest one to me. Yet again they mess everything up, always forget the sauce on the cheese quesadilla then say no its on there then I have to double check and drive back through to tell them no its definitely not on there. Then they give me an remake that's completely cold with unmelted cheese. So pointless. Also the cruchwrap was supposed to be black bean, not beef. Pretty sick of this location. They should honestly just close down.

It really sucks that this is the closest location for me. So many people avoid this location that they don't get enough business most nights is my guess. They are always closing early. Supposed to be open till 1? Never.

Update 12/11/2025: still trying every few months or so, the quality goes up and down. Food is delicious most of the time cuz hey its taco bell, tho they still forget some things at times.“

“I only give a 4 because I pick up. A.J. has taken this crew has made leaps and bounds. This is now a location I want to be in line for. Even when I asked the managers name, the staff pumped him up. They have a great team and I'm happy to be their customer (love my red sauce)“
