Bartender today with the white backwards hat was extremely friendly to me and my friens that went in for a beer for my 21st bday. All around good vibe and kind workers. Highly recommend! I will be back!
It’s between Dogwood and Kung Fu for best bar on Rock Rose for me! I live around the corner, so I come here a lot. The drinks are great, the barspace is awesome since there are three bars, and the roof top area is super awesome. Great for a chill Sunday afternoon or a crunk Saturday night (make sure your phone’s charged for an Uber lol). Side note: their mac & cheese is fireeee. Highly recommend!

I've lived in North Austin for years and visited Dogwood numerous times. But today they decided to enforce their Black only dress code. My husband was denied entry with sweatpants on, which is fine except for a few minutes later a white man walks in wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt and was allowed to enter. So is there a rule against all sweatpants or just Black men in sweatpants.
