“We arrived for a late Friday lunch to find the parking lot packed. Fortunately, we found a spot to park. The reason for the crowd was made obvious by the quality of the BBQ. My wife's brisket stuffed potato was that - stuffed. I have developed an affinity for smoked turkey and the turkey sandwich was top notch. We found the Cole slaw to be tangy which I enjoy, but may not be everyone's preference. I strongly advise paying them a visit. Don't be surprised if you have trouble parking.“

“Came again for a quick to go order because the Empress was coming thru Rosenberg on its way to Mexico from Canada. Remembered the burgers are to die for and holy cow they were so attentive and nice for me just waking in to get a quick bite. They had some regulars at the bar, which in my book if a place has a few of those you know it's good. It does get a bit smokey from the grill, it would be great if they could just get a bit more ventilation, especially for the bar. The front of the restaurant wasn't as bad.“

“first off, I want to say that this is one of the Mexican restaurants that are the most affordable in Rosenberg. Typically me and my partner like to go on dates in Houston, but this time around we found ourselves in this city and really enjoyed our time in this little restaurants. We were treated with such kindness and consideration, and we also loved our food. My boyfriend got typical eggs and breakfast tacos and I got barbacoa and pastor. “I’ve had such bad results recently from my previous favorite Mexican food restaurant La Casona (they’ve really gone downhill in quality, quantity, everything) that I searched for a new fav. It didn’t take long!!!Rita’s is F#€K!NG AMAZING!!! I got the full order of Chicken Tacos Al Carbon and they mean FULL!! Each taco had more chicken than most places have in the entire order. this is the only time that I wish I’d have taken pictures of my food as proof. ? Flavor …. Perfection.The other people dining with me, had the cheese enchilada plate and a beef enchilada plate and they loved it. “The pupusas are the best! Although, there is a big difference between morning and evening foods (maybe the cooks are different) their shrimp ceviche is trash! Has no flavor! Aguas frescas are missing flavor too (taste like water with ice and sugar) the place is clean and it’s located in a very strategic part of the town but if the owner or managers don’t fix certain things with the food and drinks then I don’t think it will ever be more popular than what it is right now.“

“Nice and comfortable but on key days like Sunday it gets too crowded, although in the end they serve you quickly, maybe when you walk inside the place with food you have to be very careful because it gets very crowded, or maybe another child there, but yes, very good.“

“Had a super quick lunch but my burger was fantastic. Luckily I wasn't starving so I didn't fully absorb the menu but when I went to refill my drink I noticed all the cool additions you could add. Pretzel and sourdough buns ect I was super bummed to find out you can get real Wisconsin cheese curds and I haven't found a place ever that has them so I am looking forward to coming back and getting those. I got the bacon cheddar burger and it was amazing. I love a place with real bacon. The restaurant was clean and service was friendly. You can tell the owners give back to the local hs and sports teams ect. Definitely will be back for some cheese curds.“
