“I happened to be driving thru downtown and drove by and saw Truth Lounge and Bistro. I brought my wife to try it out and was impressed. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or a special occasion. They were serving the Saturday brunch menu, I ordered the lamb chops and waffles, and my wife ordered the fish and grits. Both dishes were very delicious and well seasoned. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to make your dining experience memorable. We will definitely be returning to try the dinner menu! Overall, Truth Lounge and Bistro is a must-visit for anyone looking for great food in a welcoming atmosphere.“

“One word to describe the first bite. WOW! The oxtails were absolutely delicious. Never had anything like it. The macaroni was really good it was a lot of different flavors in it that I wasn’t expecting. The cabbage was amazing and the cornbread was sweet like cake. Customer service was great I was greeted and treated like a friend. I will definitely be returning to try different dishes from this restaurant. You guys should definitely check it out and don’t forget to get the Kool-Aid.“

“Yes. The gravy is dark. And soooo good! Glad I gave this place a try. Will definitely return. We pulled up right at opening and there were already several people ahead of us. Obviously has a strong local following. We tried smothered chops, hamburger steak, and beef tips. The kids immediately liked it. Parking was easy, staff was friendly and fast. The cabbage was already flavored. No hot sauce needed. Mac n cheese, sweet yams, cabbage, cornbread and taters and gravy were all on point in large servings. And the tea is just right. Will definitely return.“
