“I rate it the best Japanese restaurant in greater Austin area. The master chef, Akira-san provides authentic Japanese cuisines. Every dish is fresh and delicious. Staffs are attentive and friendly. The contemporary interior design is just neat and cozy to enjoy a nice meal.“
“The nigiri in my experience was better than the rollPlace is a little expensive for the limited menuUsed to going to hando in houston and paying half the cost for more food.Everything was very good though would go back. New little Korean owned spot“
“Seated immediately when the next door food place had a line out the door. Prices are good and staff attentive. Ordered fried gyoza dumplings, UNAGI roll, avocado roll, and the pork ramen, and a mango drink. Broth to the ramen was great saw many other customers enjoying their bowls with enthusiasm.“
“My husband and I have been dining at Cho since we dated, and while it's always been good, we had never received exceptional service as we did tonight. Our server, Chess, was very pleasant and made us feel like we were right at home. He was very attentive and customer-oriented. Thank you, Chess, for providing us with world-class service! We'll be back to see you!“
“This is hands down one of the best sushi restaurants in Austin. All of the rolls are so fresh and flavorful (craving that 620 roll as I write this)and the Ramen bowls are amazing as well. The staff is always warm, welcoming and attentive. They also have live music on Saturdays which is a nice touch and made my daughter’s birthday celebration and song extra special a couple weeks ago! Our favorite restaurant in the bee cave/Lakeway area.“
“Service was prompt. Place was clean and nice.No one came to check if the food was ok, I would have told them that the rice was crispy and dry. Like they got to the bottom of the rice cooker and gave me the drabs that were left at the bottom. Disappointing. The edamame was good. Sushi was good. Chicken katsu was ok-good... But Something missing can't quit place my finger on what. Tempura was above average. Agedashi tofu was flavourful. I liked the tofu actually....My friend had the bowl.. with grilled chicken teriyaki. Something in her bowl was extreeeeeemely salty. To the point where she had to ask for extra rice to try to make it edible. Now, her extra rice came out looking nice and plump and soft unlike my rice in the Bento Box I ordered. It's just almost sacrilege for a Japanese/ Asian restaurant to serve rice that's not right. Will try again again to see if I need to increase or further decrease the stars on this review.“
“This is a great Japanese gem on William Cannon. I've been here a couple time and never disappointed. The sushi is great, and I keep meaning to try different dishes but it is so delicious that I find it hard to change. I tried the mochi ice cream and it was good. The ice cream part was really flavorful. The rice coating on the outside didn't taste as I remember, it was not chewy. Always great service here and look at the specials.“
“Just got out of work 9:56 and made it at 10 :08 most places wouldn't make anything past 955 but here was different the food is amazing the soups are ti dieeeee for I've never tried this place before but it's my favorite already ?? lemme pyo the rice w chicken (spicy) SO “
“Nice quiet place for dinner. The food and service were great! This was our first time ordering ramen and it did not disappoint. Also ordered the dynamite, snowflake, and longhorn rolls(actually plated like a longhorn) all were made fresh and delicious. Waitress was very attentive and the staff were all very polite. I would definitely go again.“
“Gluten-free sushi, ready in a reasonable time from very courteous and kind staff. We also get a great chicken skewers item, no sauce so it is Gluten-free, really tasty.Dietary restrictions: They understand Gluten-free and are really helpful when we order.“
“Great cozy atmosphere inside the restaurant. Welcoming staff and quickly found us a table.Food is tasty and servers are helpful in case of any questions.Didn’t have to wait a lot between courses.Definitely worth a try.Closest to authentic Japanese cuisine as you’ll get in south Austin.“
