“Wow! We had sliced brisket sandwiches for lunch today (Brenham location) and they were by far the best we’ve ever had anywhere! Don’t know why anyone would put bbq sauce on it! Even the potato salad was excellent! There was a line when we got there but I expect that with any good restaurant. We have tried bbq in all parts of TX and this was by far THE BEST! We’ll be back!”

“LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! my friend and her parents have been coming awhile. I went out with them a few months ago and everywhere else in town does not compare! This was my first time trying "Whiskey Business" and great! They have seasonal drinks and the one we have the most currently is "sweater weather" the vibe here is a 10. The staff are a 10. The eclectic furniture here is a 10. The back patio with wonderful setting and a stage they built high to see easier.. guess what a 10!!”

“First time there today and it was noon time on Sunday, so very crowded. Was seated right away and ordered food, after looking over the huge menu selection. I ordered Shrimp Alfredo Fettuccine and my guest ordered the pasta trio. When food arrived it was hot and very delicious. Also there was plenty of food on each plate for two maybe three meals. I highly recommend Tuscany in Brenham”

The self guided tour is so fun, and getting to go to the observatory to see your favorite flavors being made was so mesmerizing.

“A long-awaited trip to The Tilted Windmill proved satisfying and interesting. The building is worth the trip...beautiful bar! Our order was taken by Charlie, who let us know she had made her mom's turkey and dumplings (with added peppercorns). That proved too much to resist and we weren't disappointed. I also enjoyed the White Wolf coffee, a huge mug that included shots of white chocolate mocha and Irish cream. Yum!!

Charlie was a delight and she definitely catered to customers, working to keep this establishment's clientele satisfied and happy. You would have thought she was the owner! Matthew, who served our food and cleared tables (and maybe even fulfilled orders), was also very friendly and helpful. In addition, they have about 100 varieties of tea! If you're considering, definitely try The Tilted Windmill. Allow plenty of time because this place is busy, and you'll want to take time to study the tea menu.”

“This is a store that has a great Ice Cream shop. Blue Bell of course just down in the road from the creamery. Cups cones shakes and malts. I had Peppermint malt, absolutely fabulous. I was transported back to my childhood.
The rest of the store is a highway store, with a knic-knac store attached.”

“We're a vegan family newer to Brenham and have slowly tried out restaurants here since it's not so easy to eat places. I was happy to see a vegetable fajita plate, and they were very good. I was not sure about the rice but both the refried and charro beans are definitely not vegan, but you might be able to ask for them to be prepared that way. I ate the rice and vegetables, along with the guacamole, and that was enough for me. The rice was very mediocre and could use improvement. Other than the food I liked the atmosphere, and that the restaurant was full. Service was quick, not super friendly but not rude. I don't mind that if it's quick. So I've added this to a list of restaurants I can eat at, but need to inquire further on if any beans can be made vegan.

Side note - there is very little parking, so come early to grab a spot.”

“I haven’t tried papa johns in maybe over 10 years or so and I decided to give it a try now that I’m staying here for work, I ordered the New York style pizza for take out and it was done fairly quick, I took a bite and boy I hadn’t had a pizza pie that good in a hot min. It wasn’t greasy, the crust was crispy/crunchy and the sauce was sweet which is what I look for. I definitely recommend this place”
