“Quant and absolutely delicious Sushi restaurant! We went for lunch and there were only 2 people working but they did an amazing job! Fast, knowledgeable and friendly customer service.I ordered the teriyaki shrimp bento box and the server asked for my preferences in all options to ensure that my order was correct. It comes with 2 dumplings, salad with ginger dressing, the teriyaki shrimp was on top of grilled veggies (, , ), 4 piece roll of Cali or spicy crab and rice (steamed or fried). The rice was a nice portion and was served in a bowl on the side. The Cali roll was big and made with all fresh ingredients. My daughter ordered the shrimp tempura roll; it comes with 8 pieces and is a very large roll with fresh and real ingredients. The ambiance is low lighting, tables and chairs as well as low tables with cushions for floor seating for dining in. Whether you dine in or get it to go, you MUST try this restaurant; you will absolutely love it!“
“Sunday evening and everything was absolutely perfect. My husband and I live in the area and decided to come in for our anniversary. Quickly greeted and seated at the bar and brought water/menus. Started with a crudo sampler which was a great way for a couple to try a few of their raw offerings. My favorite was the tuna topped with the crab. I ordered a 3-roll regular combo and my husband opted for the 5-roll premium option. Every single thing was delicious and fresh. Even the options with sauces were very nicely balanced and not overdone. My favorite was the salmon option with the mango. My husband loved the yellowtail topped with a jalapeño. Chef gifted us a couple of pieces of salmon belly sushi which was my favorite bite of the night! It was lightly smoked and came with a dab of a wonderful sauce. Tiramisu mascarpone for dessert had a cheesecake texture which I really enjoyed. Will be back and so happy to have them in our neighborhood.“
“This sushi place exceeded my expectations with its fresh and delicious sushi offerings. The friendly staff made the dining experience enjoyable, and their tonkatsu was very good, adding variety to the menu. I highly recommend this spot for anyone craving excellent sushi in a welcoming atmosphere.“
“I have always ordered for pick up or delivery but I finally had a dine in experience over the weekend. The restaurant was very clean, and the server was really nice. We really appreciated that our server understood the assignment when my babe ordered his dishes extra spicy ! She even brought out sliced Serrano peppers and extra siracha for him. I ordered the Boyfriend Roll and the Golden Roll and my babe ordered the Monkey Brain and Spicy Edamame. Everything was fresh and delicious. This has definitely become the sushi fave in the area for us. We will be back“
“Great food and great service! We dined on a Sunday night and there was no wait getting a table. The server was attentive and friendly. The gyoza was really good, probably my favorite gyoza I’ve had. The ramen itself was also really good, not my favorite but still good enough to visit again!“
“This is my favorite sushi restaurant in DFW. I come here every other week or so. The all you can eat dinner experience is really great. There is so many options to choose from. I love how everything is made fresh to order rather than buffet style all you can eat. Even though the price may be high to some people I always feel like I get my money's worth after I leave. I have come during lunch before and although the price is cheaper alot of the menu isn't available like it is during dinner. I would not come here personally during lunch again. It's not a good value to me.“
“Our chef Gino Rosario was amazing. He made us all laugh including my 7yo son. Loved the customer service from everyone. I will say it is pricey. 2 adults one child on a Sunday came out to $162. 18% tip is automatically added to your bill fyi, wish i would have known that or atleast disclose it in menu. Also if you opt for fried rice its a $3.5 additional charge. Over all we enjoyed out experience thats to our chef“
“A nice location that had plenty of space to eat. The location was not crowded and easy to get in and order. Ordering was a little odd, since there wasn't a full description of the items we were ordering, so we kinda had to hope we would get everything good. Some items didn't match their conventional name, like the Karaage was actually just a chicken leg and wing still connected and maybe fried once. Whereas you'd normally see such a named item being a twice fried chicken chunk.Other than that, the food all came out out of order and appetizers came out mixed in with other courses. The sukiyaki dish didn't really have any explanation of what to do, and for people like ourselves who didn't get raised eating these dishes, we had to research on the spot leading to a little difficulty. But each item served was delicious and we did enjoy the whole experience.I would recommend giving this location a try, the staff that we interacted with were friendly and attentive even though it was relatively close to closing time.“
“Very enjoyable experience this evening. My daughter and I dined in. I got the poke bowl with miso soup and pork gyoza. My daughter got some speciality sushi rolls and ramune soda. We really enjoyed all of it. I hadn't been to this location in at least a year and a half and was pleasantly surprised by the charming eat-in experience. I thought I recalled basic counter service, but they have upgraded the ambiance in a meaningful way. Service was attentive. We will certainly be back!“
“One of my favorite spots to stop by when I go to Hmart in Carrollton is JS Sushi. Hmart's food court has many different options to choose from. We got JS Sushi's poke bowl. Sometimes we share a poke bowl and get something else from another restaurant in the food court but today was a get your own poke bowl day. Definitely recommend! Not sure if JS Sushi is at other Hmart locations but it is at the Carrollton location.“
“Really only open for lunch Monday to Friday until 3 pm so a nearby work break spot. And a dang good option too. Old school looking restaurant but that’s how you know it’s legit. Simple menu, which was a plus for me. As soon as I ordered the guy in the back brought out a container of raw meat so you know it’s fresh. From ordering to cooking and to be ready was only about 3 to 4 minutes. It’s a good amount of food for the price you’re paying and it tasted delicious as well. I will definitely make this one of my regular locations to visit for lunch.“
“A sensational spot filled with excellent food. With a wide variety of dishes that will suit every pallet you cannot go wrong here. Layers of flavors that complement each other are sure to please. Great service and a relaxing atmosphere make this a top spot for family dining.“
“Food was amazing! Shuwn's amazing and suuuuuper friendly. We didn't even realize that there was a promotion where we could get an entree half off and he let us know that after we ordered he could comp us the next time we eat there!Food is cooked fresh and it's a complete one-man show, so there may be a little wait, but it's totally worth it. He was proud to say that he makes his food in-house including the sauces. We ordered the teriyaki chicken and pork katsu. Macaroni salad is the best I've ever had. Teriyaki Chicken was delicious and had a perfect char to it. Pork Katsu was crispy, juicy, and definitely satisfying. Portions are generous and will fill you up.“
