“Food is consistently good. Very good flavor and quick service. I enjoy the Baja Fish Tacos the best and get it almost everytime I go. The restaurant is small and nothing special to see but for a quick bite it is a nice stop. The employees have always been very nice and helpful. Highly recommend as a place to go.“

“Parillada Mixta is beef steak, chicken breast, port chop and jalapeño sausage. Each was the BEST I have had in any restaurant for years. Together an unmissable experience. It's worth the few minutes walk out of the ultra touristy River Walk to a truly exceptional restaurant.“

“Restaurant was really nice and clean and staff was super friendly! Flavors were delicious, but we found many of the items to be exceptionally salty. Everything else was so great that we'll definitely give it another try...maybe someone just had a heavy hand with the salt today!“

“The foor here is so good it's stupid. The staff is very busy most of the time, but they are still very friendly and just attentive enough. The GREEN SAUCE is sexy and it knows it.They say hunger is the best seasoning, but I say whatever they are putting on that chicken marinade is. The chicken is ALWAYS juicy and perfectly cooked. Whenever I want a good grilled bird, this is where I go.I always get the pineapple agua fresca.“

“We came for brunch after staying a night at hotel Havana! We love how beautiful the indoor conservatory area is - so cute and service was great! We tried the pan de plátano (banana bread) - delicious!!! We loved it so much both loaves were finished no problem! I got the Cuban hash and my husband got the chilaquiles with eggs added and we shared both entrees! We loved the mix of both and would get everything again!“

“Came here while visiting San Antonio and wanted to support local businesses. It’s a bit hidden but the coffee and the service was great. The owner was making her St.Patty’s day special and gave it to me as soon as i expressed interest.Businesses like these should always be supported to keep the culture of the city going! Will be back the next time I’m in town again.“

“This is my favorite place to get tacos. I rate based on how well the Bean and Cheese taste. If you can’t make a good bean and cheese are you even a Mexican restaurant. This is the spot to be at. Rosy the cashier is the sweetest lady ever. The Green salsa is the best I dip my taco that sauce. Must try you won’t be disappointed.“

“Arrive early to get a table, it fills up quick. Coffee refill on point. I ordered the carne guisada taco, crispy chicharron with egg and a chorizo and bean taco. Amazing flavor and portions. The corn tortillas are handmade and taste amazing! Watch out for their salsa ranchera, super hot!“

“I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review about Gloria's. We love this place. It's a sure bet for family gatherings, romantic date nights, a quick stop for a great cocktail, or even a night of dinner and dancing. The food is exceptional, the cocktails are top notch, the decore is stylish, modern, and very tasteful. We have never had anything less than stellar attentive service from the bar staff and the wait staff. This is our go to place. I can't count how many times we've been there and enjoyed it every single time.“

“I read Shaunda's post on the San Antonio Restaurant Facebook page and we headed over to try @puropanjaz Panamanian cuisine. It's a stone's throw from Toyota Field and Morgan's Wonderland, inside the convenience store at the Chevron gas station. Shaunda grew up cooking with grandma, a Panamanian-Jamaican influence. Please be patient as the great food takes time. She won first place on Food Network's cupcake wars and a graduate of CIA San Antonio. We tried everything on today's menu (see photo). Most flavorful were the oxtail, Arroz con Pollo, Empanada, and Panamanian Tamal. The chicken in the Pollo and Tamal was so moist. No surprise that Shaunda brines the chicken! The Patacones and Yucca Fries were great with Panamanian ketchup. She didn't have dessert today, but I look forward to trying the rum cake. Please stop by and support her business. There is limited seating. It was great running into James and Ryan, who also saw the post.“

“Literally farm to table! Soooooo fresh, green, and flavorful. It was a gorgeous day, so my friend and I sat outside on their beautifully decorated patio. Lots of umbrellas for shade and pretty succulent arrangements throughout. Server was friendly and attentive. My friend ordered the salmon collard taco wraps with beans $20, and I ordered off the brunch menu- sweet potato hash with an added fried egg $15. Food came out quick, beautiful presentation. My hash was yummy- diced sweet potatoes, finely chopped fresh beets and kale, and topped with two sauces. I took my sunny side up egg, placed it on top of my hash and let the yolk ooze over the hash - sooo good. The salmon collard wraps were simply colorful art. Loads of fresh greens- guacamole, and collards used to replicate as a taco shell and roll up the salmon. Appetites were satisfied and we didn't feel overly full. I would definitely come back again!“

“My bad for not giving a review -- I came to Mi Casa in September because my older sister recommended this restaurant to my parents. I was super full from the breakfast, which was chorizo with eggs and potatoes hahaThe cool thing is that the tortillas are hand-made! When my family comes back to San Antonio, I will remind my parents to come back here! They also loved the food. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to eat a Mexican breakfast with fresh tortillas ^^Sorry for my Spanish and for not leaving a review -- I came to my house in September because my older sister recommended my parents. “The food at this place was amazing totally different from any food. I’ve tried here in San Antonio. Their tacos are so delicious and taste so different from traditional street tacos that you would taste in California and San Antonio. I would definitely come back here very unique tasting food I highly recommend this place.“

“I stopped by to get food to go. Since they knew it was to go they packed everything nicely to make sure it would be easy to take, without me asking for it. This is more secure than a regular cup holder, food was good and they also prepared it very fast. Thanks!“

“This is one of our favorite spots to eat in San Antonio! We love the reina pepiada, the chicharrones, and the yucca fries. Today, we got almond milk cappuccinos, which had the perfect amount of foam, and we also tried the pernil arepa, so good!“
