“The food was prepared fresh and packed with so much flavor. My granddaughter and I enjoyed it so much, I returned 4 days later. We ordered the fish strip combo w/fries and kool-aid. My second visit I ordered the whole catfish combo meal. Delicious, delicious, delicious! Customer service was excellent! Thank you for the hospitality during our vist. We will return real soon!!!“
“It was a nice place, good quality food but there's a charge for refills so it'll be on the roster for that but besides that it's a good restaurant, it may look small from the outside, but the inside is large roomy and beautiful murals on the “
“Most people take out, I see very few people in the dining area at this location. I give them 4 stars on food because not every dish shines. If I could rank their main courses, I would put their fried catfish first, followed by the tenders, then the chicken and last the livers and gizzards. This last one is tough to get right. That being said, the chicken is good with crispy crust; the white meat is not dry. The fries are frozen and crinkle-cut but fried well. The mashed potatoes are from powder, kinda reminds me of what you would get in a school lunch, but again, not bad. The green beans are good but nothing fancy. They also have corn nuggets and fried okra. It used to be dirt cheap, but prices have gone up like everything else. That being said, for the price, it doesn't ask anything of places like KFC or Golden Chick. If you order a family meal, you will also get a 2-liter coke, rolls, and jalapeños. I used to eat at one of these in Fort Worth all the time; it never disappointed. Do a search; you may be surprised to find one near you. They definitely have more locations in Fort Worth. For the money, their catfish can't be beat. You can get full on 2 filets and a side. I would call the fish their signature dish. Try it, you won't be disappointed.“
“Every time I go here my experience is always good! I get seated quickly, the waiters/waitresses are nice, and the food always come out at a reasonable time. I usually go during their lunch hours because they have great prices. I've been able to try a lot, and everything is delicious in my opinion.“
“We went to Saltgrass to celebrate my recent wedding. The food here was amazing. The food came out surprisingly fast (almost too fast.) We were still trying to finish our salads and appetizers when our main entrees were brought out. The ribeye that my brother and I had was outstanding. My sister in law had the brisket burger and it was amazing! Highly recommend if you are not wanting steak or seafood. The only downside to our dinner was that our waitress did not keep up on refilling waters. Not only that but we were finished with our meal and waited a long time before receiving the check. She did not come to our table even though she was in the section. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for its food and its atmosphere.“
“All I have to say is...you know when fish is good when you wake up and try to put the leftovers up, and end up finishing the last 2 pieces off! There was no after grease when it got cold...yummyGoing back to try the fried lobster tails ?Dietary restrictions: As far as dietary restrictions...I know what you're asking...just don't go super hungry...you might overspend if you're on a budget!!!Parking: Parking is close to the entrance. They service was pretty quick so we weren't there long.Kid-friendliness: I saw a few kids there with their parents! The wait didn't seem to be a bother to them!“
“We were a large group of ten and the restaurant did a good job of accommodating us. The food was delicious and authentic Cajun. The waitress was very attentive. There is lots of fun decor in the restaurant. The jazz music was a little loud after a while but also kept the atmosphere energetic and still allowed for conversation of those close by.“
“Trying to find a really good boiled seafood restaurant in the DFW area is like pulling teeth!!!My husband and I have tried countless places and always leave disappointed, UNTIL NOW.This is as close to home as it will get being that we are both from bayou city (Houston) with our family roots being in Louisiana.“
