“Trying to find a really good boiled seafood restaurant in the DFW area is like pulling teeth!!!My husband and I have tried countless places and always leave disappointed, UNTIL NOW.This is as close to home as it will get being that we are both from bayou city (Houston) with our family roots being in Louisiana.”

The counter team is always on point.I am very selective about ordering. If there aren’t, at least, three cookies that capture my attention, I don’t order that week.Past that. It’s cookies! “When I lived in Grand Prairie, this is far and away the best pizzeria to go to. I would drive 20 minutes out of my way passing by numerous other pizza joints just to go to Sam's. I never had anything bad and the service was delivered with such hospitality.The one thing I will NEVER forget and always champion Sam's for is one time I thought I had accidentally left my cc at home (it actually was in the car) when I picked up the pizza and realized I didn't have it, one of the workers simply said, "When you get home, call us back with the number and we'll charge you that way." He could have easily said, "Sorry, we can't give this to you" but instead he trusted me to do the right thing.Go to Sam's. You won't regret it.”

“What an amazing place! My best friend and I, along with her grandma and her young Jedi (don’t worry, he had a sprite), stopped by during our stay at Cedar Hill State Park. Both gentlemen there were true believers! So knowledgeable of their product from its history all the way down to the pour in your glass. We all laughed, gossiped about wine, ate good cheese, and at the end, gained a far away place to call “my self care happy place.” I don’t often drink wine, but even I bought a bottle for a late night under the stars. I added butter on the toast to melt.Bacon and Eggs: The bacon was really crispy which I loved and the eggs were nice and golden. We were greeted with a sign on the door that says they do not serve people with a strong smell of marijuana. Love that! Even though the restaurant was clearly very busy, we were promptly seated. Our server was great; she was very fast and attentive. We ordered drinks, they came out fast. We ordered our food and it was fast, too. The whole atmosphere is jumping and the restaurant meticulously renovated and decorated. Most people were dressed very nicely. I like that in a restaurant. Nicely dressed patrons. It makes the restaurant feel higher end. Everything was very fresh. My husband ordered the fajita fiesta platter and the shrimp were huge! Everything on his plate looked great! I had the fish tacos. Very yummy. The charro beans were awesome! My only complaint would be they serve fish tacos on corn tortillas and the weight of the fish and other things in the taco did not hold and my tortillas broke on the bottom so I had to eat them with a knife and fork. That’s where my 4 stars out of 5 come from. Otherwise, everything on my plate tasted wonderful and it wasn’t a deal breaker, but I would recommend they use two tortillas per taco, cook them a little longer so they aren’t so soft, or use flour tortillas. I love fish tacos, and I don’t think I’ve ever experienced all of my fish tacos break apart like that so that was a little disappointing. I kept noticing the servers walking past with several different fun-looking frozen drink concoctions on their trays that looked really good. Now that I know that, I will be going back soon to try a few of those! Overall, Campuzano did not disappoint and we left, knowing we will return!Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance to the restaurant is a ramp.”
